Positive: Great location close to the centre of Chamonix with lovely mountain views from our 3rd floor balcony, fantastic spa facilities, delicious meals in the Akashon restaurant and friendly & helpful staff.
Negative: Just a couple of minor issues… The key card reader at the bottom of the stairs was not working, meaning we were unable to easily access the stairs as an alternative to the lift. Limited cooked breakfast options on our first morning as several items had run out at least 30 minutes before the end of the breakfast session. We went down earlier on our second morning and all was good!

Negative: I was really disappointed with the value for money. At $400 per night, I expected a room with a stunning view, but unfortunately, this room didn't offer any view at all. The room was also very small, although I understand that space can be limited in Chamonix hotels. Despite the hotel itself being lovely, I think $400 is a bit steep. For the experience I had, I'd say it's worth around $200 per night

Negative: This time, we had a nice room that was much larger, so make sure to ask about rooms. First 2 days we stayed here, the room was a closet and we were disappointed. This time, we had a nicer, larger room- same price. Excellent breakfast.

Positive: Nice touches in the lobby with availability of beverages 24/7. Spa has nice offerings- pool, sauna, steam, cold plunge, cold cave, etc
Negative: My room had very little natural light and had a few ants. I tried to make a purchase in the spa and the desk attendant didn’t know prices of any products or how to do it, so left without making any purchases.
Summary: Good location with amenities. Staff could be better trained and friendlier.
