Positive: Absolutely beautifully renovated cottage with only nature, sheep and storks as neighbours. Right on the banks of the dam, unfortunately the water was so high there was no beach but the area really need the water so it wasn’t an issue.

Negative: Nothing, at the time the road up to the house wouldn’t be suitable for a low car but with our 4x4 it really wasn’t an issue.

Summary: A little piece of paradise.

Positive: Very secluded and peaceful location. Neat property. Amazing night sky! Bring a flashlight for outdoor at night. If you aren't stargazing here, you are doing it wrong. Solid kitchen, shop for groceries ahead of time as not a ton of food options unless you are going into town. Attentive host reachable via message.know. Right on the beautiful lake surrounded by cute sheep farms.

Negative: Make sure to read the check in instructions before heading to property! You pick up keys at a cafe in a nearby village. Rocky dirt road to get to property, we didn't have 4 wheel drive but would have preferred it, did not end up being a problem. Space heaters work if you know how to use them (was new to us). The water heater is tankless located in the kitchen cabinet, make sure to turn the max water temperature up for hot showers. It is set lower by default for safety but can easily be turned up via the knob.

Negative: Inside it could be more cousy, I recommend to have more blankets and wood for the fireplace. The location it is not easy to find, so, I suggest to put more and better information along the way. Julieta was very nice in the beginning. At the end, for our surprise the mood was not so good.

Positive: The place is very quiet, just the sounds of nature, sheep, cows and quite a few storks. The lake is just a stone throws away, amazing views, great place to relax. Have I mentioned the quietness? Contact with the owners was great and prompt, there were a couple of issues (outside of their control) that were quickly taken care of.

Negative: This place has everything to be perfect, but it was missing a few things. Probably not an issue to most, but in such a great surrounding, it felt like the terrace out back could be better cared for. There were so many ants that it was impossible to use for a few days until the owners sent someone to take care of it. The path to the lake also could be better cared for. Also, not a dislike, but it should probably be well documented that to get to this place there's a couple of klm of gravel/dirt road and the last bit is kind of rough on sportier cars, so if you're very particular to where you drive your car, be aware.

Summary: A great place to recharge and get away from the stress of daily life

Positive: Beautiful setting. We just loved the location and the house was decorated with lovely old furniture. Just us and some sheep :-). Access to the river to swim right in front of the house and wonderful clear starry skies. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped . Good WiFi. The owner is great with communication, and generous. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to those who like to 'get off the beaten track'.

Negative: A couple things needed fixing like a deckchair and bin, and we informed the owner so hopefully this won't be an issue for anyone else. It would have been nice to have a couple extra things to make it more comfortable, like a coffee table, lampshades on every light, and some cushions for outside. And some better made gates! But nothing that was a problem, just things that wouldn't take much to improve.

Negative: I wish the outdoor furniture was better maintained and clean.
