ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING! 2 Bedroom House that sits facing Lake Herrington. There is a private gravel road that goes across the front of the property dividing the house from the deck and dock. You have Private Lake Access for swimming or parking your boat at the dock. Stone work surrounds the perimeter of the property, a side sitting porch with wicker furniture is available for your leisure, an expansive deck Overlooking the water with glass railings, a Boat Dock floating on the water with a water slide is available for your leisure, Tempur-Pedic Queen Size Bed in master bedroom, and Tempur-Pedic Double Bed in guest room, Both Beds have Bamboo memory foam pillows. Tempur-Pedic Twin Size bed in common area in back of house also available. Granite counter tops, City Water, Slate Flooring in Bathroom and porch. Easy safe and solid steps to lake and dock. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo, and basic staples are included. Coffee maker, Keurig and toaster are onsite. There is limited parking. Two cars parked behind each other is about all the driveway can accommodate. No boat trailers. ALSO NOTE: Lake water levels are subject to increase during periods of high rain. There are times of the year that water will rise above the walkway to the boat dock, rendering the entire boat dock useless during the high water phase. The deck is still accessible and house is also accessible. Water levels can be checked here: https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=lmk&gage=dixk2 anything above 742 is starting to get water on steps to dock ramp.

Summary: We had a very relaxing weekend. Private. The decks and dock are awesome. We loved the interior colors of the house and the artwork. We really enjoyed our visit to Shaker Village. The owner was responsive and easy to work with before and during our stay.

Summary: Cute cottage on the lake. Nicely renovated and comfy. It was very quiet and relaxing. The dock ramp and bottom deck were under water due to heavy rains and flooding, but it looked beautiful.

Summary: This was the second time we have stayed at this home. The last time was in September of 2020. There was new living room furniture, and some overall improvements including the sleeping area in the back of the house. We absolutely love the beautiful deck overlooking the lake and enjoyed having wine in the evenings on the dock. We were excited to see a Keurig in the kitchen but unfortunately it didn’t work. Will definitely be back again!

Summary: This was our second stay. The property is wonderfully furnished and clean. There is everything there you would need. The host is accommodating to any of your needs. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful stay in a very comfortable house this is the one.
