Positive: We wanted to stay near the top of Swaledale, away from the towns down the valley, and Thwaite is an ideal spot for that. The cottage was cosy and had everything that the two of us needed. It was also quiet. Access was easy, using the keysafe. The owner sent us accurate details well before we arrived for how to get into the property. Everything worked. It's also been decorated and fitted-out in a pleasing style. Also, the Kearton Country Hotel in the village serves good meals and beers.

Negative: We had no issues with the property,
