Hike through forests, streams and prairies abundant with wildlife. Located in quiet Amish country surrounded by picturesque farms. This cozy cabin has a gas fireplace, full size kitchen and Wi-fi.
Carr Valley cheese just 15 minutes away, 40 minutes from the Dells and a grocery store 10 minutes away. The Elroy-Sparta bike trail is located in the next town. Also we are15 minutes to Wildcat Mountain State Park.
You are only allowed to bring KILN DRIED FIREWOOD. Do NOT bring firewood onto this property unless it is marked Kiln Dried. It is easy to find at most gas stations, Home Depot, etc. Kiln Dried wood is bug free. Oak Wilt is prevalent in this area of Wisconsin and can be devastating to a forest. Don’t wait until you get to the property to start looking for it, buy it on the way to the cabin. Very important, thank you.

We have Roku for streaming. You may choose to bring your own streaming stick, Keurig, washer, dryer, water softener, gas grill, fire pit, dishwasher, Aprilaire, and microwave. TV in each bedroom. Don’t forget a USB charger and cable. Consider a GPS. Bring good hiking shoes, stay on the trails, be safe.

Summary: The description of the property was very accurate. The owners communicated check-in information very clearly beforehand.This place is stunning. Clean. It is set up perfectly for 2 a dog. We never left. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare and enjoy meals at home. The outdoors offered much space to walk and enjoy nature and wildlife. This home gave us the feeling of wanting to return. Wonderful.

Summary: Beautiful cabin in the woods. Peaceful & quiet. Unfortunately weather was not ideal. Had trouble getting there sooner on arrival day. Foggy too. Icy on the day we left. Totally not the owners fault. Just disappointed by the lack of snow.

Summary: Very cozy setting. Very quiet and so clean. Not far from the dells. Nice get away for a couple days. Plenty of things to do. Places to get food. Different outdoor activities. Would definitely book again! Thank you so much! My girls loved it.

Summary: What a beautiful respite we had at this cozy and comfortable cabin in the woods. we told our 2.5 yr old granddaughter that the 3 little bears gave us permission (unlike goldilocks) to stay there while they were out. she kept going up to the loft to see if goldilocks came anyway. we loved exploring the trails where the bears might walk. so much magic and fun.

Summary: This property was great for an escape into the woods. My family of 4 and my mother had plenty of space to spread out. My kids loved all of the toys and games at the house. They spent a lot of time playing foosball. The owners were also very quick to respond to my questions. The house came with everything we needed and then some. It was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful farm land and woods. We had a great time exploring the property as well as the surrounding areas. I highly recommend stopping at Let’s Shine for coffee and Hillsborough Brewery. We also took a hike at Wildcat Mountain State Park. We hope to get back there soon!
