Summary: This large cabin fit our family of 6 perfectly. Plenty to do on the property- play in the river and waterfalls, s’mores by the fire pit, cook in the kitchen, grill, soak in the hot tub, lounge around and watch tv or play pool or a board game you name it this place has it!

Summary: the cabin was very enjoying, great amenities the overall decor of the wooden cabin feel and creek. Although pretty pricey the experience we had with the lack of service from Southern Comfort Cabins was a 1 star. We immediately notified them when we arrived that the back entrance look was not working forcing us to walk up the property down 30 steps to access the front entrance to be able to go downstairs to open from the inside. Trying to do this without any lights in front of the house, we had to carry flashlights. The following items were reported to Southern Confort Cabin - 1-no lights front entrance 2-no lights in back patio, or ceiling fan 3-no lights leading towards the creek going downstairs 4-missing shade on door in lower bedroom 5- missing shades in dining room (4) 6- toilet not flushing master bedroom 7- lightbulb above kitchen sink missing 8- electric keypad not functioning on door 9- toaster handle missing 10-dusty in downstairs bathroom 11- Trash cans not emptied (2-4 were full upon our arrival). Items 1,2,3,5,7 and 8 were requested to be repaired as all were a Safety Hazards. Day 2-1st attempt someone came out to review the repairs (nothing done) Day 3-2nd attempt the next day we called again someone else came out (stated that the front porch had a wiring issue and brought us a box of bulbs for us to install) I replaced 1 bulb in front of the gentlemen to show him there was no wiring issue and showed him the toilet issue. Day 5-2 days later we stopped at their office in Blue Ridge to verify why it was taking so long. We explained to the secretary the night before my husband slipped on the stairs trying to open the front door injuring his knee and was swollen. She sent the gentlemen that night and brought the bulbs for the front door and came the next morning Day 6 to repair the toilet. No other items were repaired during our stay. We were left with the impression that the Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals has no interest in resolving any of the maintenance services as they are not the owners of the Cabin. These were the issues we had during our 7 day stay.

Summary: The property and home was beautiful! The waterfall was the best part of the property. Although off the beaten path, the home was 10 minutes to eating and shopping. It is definitely a property that we will visit again.

Summary: I will find a reason to come back to Macaysville to stay at Hidden Falls again. What a little piece of heaven tucked away in a location so close to all that the Ocoee and Toccoa Rivers have to offer! The cabin was spotless with all the amenities you could hope for and most you didn't even need but were available just in case. Having the creek right in your backyard made coffee on the porch a must in the morning coupled with mandatory s'mores get-togethers by the fire pit at night. The game room added a nice bonus with the tv and pool table for a little family time, but nothing beat the absolute peacefulness and tranquility this cabin has to offer for a lock solid getaway. If the owner ever decides to sell this property, I am hoping they contact me first!
