Summary: VRBO #HA-4H2QGD, we recommend that things need to change before anyone else stays here. The host was very responsive. Host called 5hrs before arriving to know how much time the cleaners had to clean. Upon arriving at house, it did not smell just cleaned. The house was hot, thermostat read 81, but it was set at 73. Called host but took 2 days for AC to finally cool house. There were no paper towels, kitchen counters dirty, toaster had crumbs on top, Kerig water looked dirty, crumbs in kitchen drawers. The Culligan water tank bottom needed a cleaning and so did the floor around it. All trim in house needed dusting. Bathrooms looked cleaned however there were silver fish in the bathtubs, the floors were ants & pincher bugs. Bathtubs were deep, no non slip mats inside tubs, so we all slipped and had to hold onto sinks or door handles to get out. One shower had yellowed curtain and other shelf with used soap and soap scum. None of the beds had a top sheet between you and comforter. Some of dressers had droppings in drawers. No extra blankets or pillows. Woke up one day to puddles in kitchen from roof/ceiling leak. Had to clean up with our towels, but went to wash & found a tenant down stairs and already using. There was exposed wiring & holes in ceilings throughout house. Had nice back deck area for sitting, but found the resident out there periodically smoking. WE FELT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH DIRTY HOUSE AND RESIDENT THERE. ALSO, NO HOUSE BOOK OF DETAILS FOR WIFI & ETC.

Summary: Overall, the house & location suited our group well. Because we arrived late at night it would have been nice if a porch light was on for us for better visibility. Also having an instruction booklet so we’d know what to do with dishes, garbage etc….would have been helpful. But overall, everything worked for us.
