High Hideaway is the perfect romantic getaway! Perched atop our mountain, just 20 min from downtown Chattanooga, this high end home has a panoramic views & is only a 20 minute drive from downtown Chattanooga. With a spacious open floor plan on 3 levels, there are 2 decks, a stacked stone fireplace, a luxury kitchen, and all the amenities to make you never want to leave!
A fantastic getaway for families, couples, or group retreats, the home sleeps 10-12 comfortably.
On the main floor, the open layout of the family room and dining room extends to a large back deck that is perfect for relaxing, enjoying your morning coffee and evening beverage. The kitchen counter opens up to a barstool area for additional seating and long conversations on both sides of the counter. The kitchen features new black stainless steel appliances including a smart fridge, double combination smart oven, efficient dishwasher, and induction stovetop. The master bedroom with King is modern Moroccan themed with en suite bathroom hosting a spectacular shower view. The guest room has an old world vibe with a Queen and full bath, brightly decorated.
The upper level is connected with a spiral staircase and opens up into a main area with high angular ceilings and another back deck for spectacular stargazing. The main room hosts a colonial area with a daybed on a full/double mattress and TV. There is an ocean themed guest room with a Twin over Full/Double bunkbed (also suitable for adults) with hidden playroom, lego table and climbing wall. The Upstairs Master Queen bohemian bedroom is through the gorgeous large master bathroom with a slipper tub and deluxe shower..
The lower level has a second living room area with a very large TV and a wall of books for reading while on property. The full washer/dryer area is tucked behind doors, and the downstairs Master has a California King with an en suite bathroom and another spectacular shower view.
The back yard has a fire pit & sitting area. This property will give you room to roam and time to breathe!
Parking is limited to 5 cars.

Summary: The house was beautiful and we had a good family time. On Christmas Day we journeyed down the mountain to attend Mass then returned and spent the day working on a jigsaw puzzle and enjoying the views and each others’ company. We ventured out on other days to enjoy other places in the area around Chattanooga.

Summary: First of all, the view from the balconies is absolutely stunning. My family and I took pictures of the sunset nearly every night we were there. Our host was helpful, responsive, and so nice when she stopped by the house. The house has everything you need-extra towels, a beautiful and stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer, and extra towels and blankets. I would definitely recommend this home, especially for a large family or group trip!

Summary: House is nice and as described. Worked well for my family with plenty room for everyone. One suggestion would be to increase the number of towels and a higher quality. The master on the main floor was hot, could not locate a vent in that room, only in the restroom. Otherwise served our needs for a wedding weekend.

Summary: Great house with amazing views. Plenty of comfortable beds for large groups. Great kitchen for cooking. Could have used a few more towels, but we managed. Also, I know that bugs are tough on a mountain, but waking up to 3 ladybugs on your toothbrush is not fun.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and the house and view were amazing. I contacted the hostess twice during our stay and had an answer within a couple of hours. Our family had plenty of room to spread out and couldn’t get enough of the wonderful views. Perfect place to spend New Year’s.

Summary: We had a large group for our stay (8 adults, a five year old, and two infants) and we all had more than adequate space! We cooked a lot, and the kitchen is fantastic. All the appliances are top of the line. Overall, really great stay!
