Summary: We needed a centrally located place to stay for a birthday celebration on Pender Island, and High in the Hill did not disappoint. The property is simple and tidy, and had everything we needed for our stay. It is conveniently located close to the « shops » on island and only ten or so minutes from the ferry. It was dark and quiet at night and stayed cool throughout the day. Would highly recommend for a convenient rental on island.

Summary: Very basic accommodation but the host was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. The setting was quiet. Woke up to the sight of a deer resting on the lawn outside my window.

Summary: Everything was included to make our stay comfortable and cozy. Central, convenient location, yet in heavily wooded and private area. Apartment at ground level; no steps to climb. Access to and from property in freezing weather would be difficult due to steep hilly terrain. We enjoyed Pender, this property was just what we needed as a base for our island discovery.
