Positive: Fantastic welcome, with homemade shortbread a nice touch. Although I didn't use it, the sitting room was a bonus. Good location for me, and the host even looked up my route while I was having breakfast to check the traffic situation. Cheaper than a bland hotel chain with great customer service.

Negative: The bathroom could do with a little spruce up, and the breakfast room was a little too warm for me. A slightly bigger cooked breakfast would have been very welcome too!

Summary: Great stay, perfect host with classy customer service.

Positive: Lovely location, with good parking and very comfortable spacious room. There is also a large shared lounge area should you want to relax outside your room and read. The host was delightful and helpful and served an excellent breakfast cooked to order, which was eaten in a bright communal dining room off a lovely china crockery.
