Positive: The location was amazing and just what we were hoping for! Peace and quiet with a crystal clear creek to play in. It's a great place to unplug from the stresses of city life but not so far away from town and the beauty that the area has to offer.
Negative: This was a rural property so there were neighborhood dogs that roamed freely. This meant that dog poo was present at unexpected places in the otherwise pristine yard.
Summary: Quiet and peaceful stay in the mountains where we could destress.

Negative: Steep steps were a tad difficult to negotiate.

Positive: Beautiful wooded location. Peaceful. The brook on the property. Many helpful amenities & resources, such as hiking guides. Good Wi-if. Nicely furnished new deck.
Negative: No cell service (Verizon). “Dining” furniture needs an upgrade. A bit challenging to access, but knew that from the start.
Summary: Beautiful small home in an exceptionally picturesque spot.

Positive: Cozy and on a beautiful property.
Negative: It was very far away from Highlands down a very windy road with many hairpin turns. Had to then go far down a dirt road without any internet or GPS for directions . Driveway is very narrow, steep and tricky. The cabin has a updated kitchen. But the bathroom is a bit dated. Furnishings were also rather dated and eclectic. Beds were a bit strange so high off the ground. There is not much room in the cabin for 4 people—no table for 4 people to sit down for meals.
