The Mountain Escape just 2 miles from the lodge at Sunday River! This is a brand-new chalet style home. Open concept floorplan includes great room with wet bar, kitchen, and dining area. The king suite has double vanity and glass shower with dual showerheads. Bedrooms two and three, also on the upper level share a full bathroom. Each room has a queen bed. The lower level is where you will find the game room. This level also accommodates another full bath and bedrooms four and five. HOT TUB! The damage waiver fee of $150.00 is a non-refundable payment- which covers accidental damage up to the amount of $1500.00. This fee is processed in the overall costs of the rental at the time of booking. We recommend all or 4 wheel drive in the winter season. The roads and driveway are professionally maintained but guests may find travel difficult without it.

Summary: This stay was great. House is perfect for a large group and central to every brewery and activity in the area. Only downside was there was no grill and the host never responded to us during our stay, asking about it. We would have appreciated communication. Other than that, it had everything we needed, the rooms were perfect, porch, etc. Thank you!

Summary: The house is exactly as pictured. It's clean, airy, great view of the slopes from the huge windows in the living room! Kitchen has the core things you need. Kids really enjoyed the basement couch area. Host was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

Summary: Our stay at this ski house was absolutely phenomenal! The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and perfect for hosting a large group of friends and family for a big ski trip.The living areas were cozy, with a beautiful fireplace, and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. The hot tub outside was the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. We had a question about how to work it and they sent someone out right away to help us! The location couldn't have been better – just a short distance from the ski resort, allowing us to easily hit the slopes each day, but also tucked away enough for some privacy. The host was lovely and responded quickly to our requests or questions. We even left some things behind and our host, Julia, was so kind to return the items to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay – we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Reviewer Comments: This house has a great location and a nice set-up with bunk rooms downstairs and the other bedrooms upstairs. We appreciated the snacks and ski necessities like chapstick that were provided as a welcome gift. We wished there were more than just a few hooks in the mudroom to dry ski gear and the mattresses aren't the most comfortable, but overall it's a good rental for multiple families skiing Sunday River.

Summary: We had an amazing time having our annual fantasy football draft weekend. The house was just as advertised and very clean. A great location as well a short drive to stores, restaurants, breweries etc. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Summary: The house was lovely - plenty of room for our group of 6 adults - and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the foosball table was enjoyed. We appreciated using the firepit and the grill. Overall, we enjoyed the house and our stay. However, the house was very warm!!! We were there in August and it was 90+ outside and humid. Most of the time the main floor was well over 80 with both AC units and 3 fans running. The 3rd floor bedrooms, with the exception of the main bedroom which had an air conditioner, were unbearably hot. The listing says there are portable air conditioners but on hot humid days like when we were there, the 2 portable units are inadequate for the main floor. Obviously that is a non issue for fall/ spring & ski season visitors!

Close to mountain and Bethel. great Mountain View from living room and kitchen. Hot Tub was added bonus. My only complaint would be the floors and bath fixtures could be clean better. Floors had crumbs in corners and under stools. The bath had hair in Corner of shower on toilet seat and sink.
