Positive: The location was great for Howarth and surrounding areas. If you don’t mind a hill or two, you can walk to and from Howarth with its lovely pubs and restaurants. The house is comfortable and spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathrooms are modern and the showers really nice and powerful.

Negative: I’m being picky as it wasn’t really an issue, but the oven wasn’t a fan oven. There’s also no dishwasher but again it wasn’t really an issue as we took turns washing up!

Summary: A lovely house in a great location with beautiful views!

Positive: Lovely cotttage with welcoming hosts and special little extras. Stunning views over the valley and excellent accomadation with everything you could need. Great local pub serving homemade food nearby (the Golden Fleece)

Negative: Cannot say anything bad as this was one of the best cottages I have been to. Lots of steep hills in the area so not so good for anyone with mobilty issues. Great for anyone who loves a walk. Local shop had closed down so a bit further to walk to get to the Co-op.
