Welcome to our bright & cosy 2 bedroom cottage, located on our 7 acre property surrounded by beautiful rolling hills in the stunning Closeburn countryside. Get to know us on Insta here - @our_tree.change
We provide eco-friendly amenities & toiletries.
We are 8min drive from Samford Village, 12min to Dayboro, 30min to Brisbane city and 45mins to Brisbane airport.
It is separate from the main house with its own private entrance and parking.
It has two bedrooms, open plan living, dining and kitchen, a modern bathroom with separate toilet and laundry, and outside entertaining areas, including a BBQ on the patio, a sun-soaked front deck and a fire pit in the garden.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size fridge and freezer, oven, stove top, toaster, kettle, microwave, espresso machine, rice cooker and sandwich press. We provide you with cooking and baking utensils so you can make any meals you wish to.
The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and walk-in-robe, with plenty of storage and hanging space. The second bedroom can be set up either with two single beds, or one king size bed (please specify how you would like it to be set for you), plus a build-in-robe.
We also provide a travel cot (including bedding) and a high chair, if required (please specify) if you have a little one coming to stay too.
The bathroom has a large shower and a bath, and there is a separate toilet. The separate laundry features a tub, washing machine and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board, and an external clothes line.
Toiletries, including plastic-free eco friendly body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, along with plant-based eco friendly laundry detergent, fabric softener and stain remover.
There are freshly laundered towels for your use and of course fresh bed linen on the beds for your arrival (spare bed linen and towels available in the linen cupboard if required.)
The lounge has a double sofa bed and a smart TV connected to wifi and with a Chromecast, so you can access free-to-air channels, Netflix, YouTube etc, as well as the ability to cast from your favourite streaming apps (Disney, Foxtel Go, etc.). There is a desk and chair if you need to do some work during your stay.
The dining table seats up to 6 people, as does the outdoor dining setting on the patio overlooking the paddock and neighbouring hills.
We also have plenty of room for parking on the grass in front of the cottage
We provide tea, coffee and milk for your arrival. Please let us know any dietary requirements you may have (gluten/dairy free, vegetarian/vegan, etc).
We also provide board games and playing cards for you to enjoy.
We are an 8min drive from Samford Village where you will find a Drakes grocery store, bottle shops, Aus Post, newsagents and variety store, the Samford Pub, and many wonderful cafes and restaurants. We are 30 min from Brisbane city and 45 mins to Brisbane airport.
