Summary: Description of rental didn’t warn you about the amount of stairs you would have to climb just to enter the rental and even more stairs to get to the third and fourth bedrooms. The bedding upstairs smelled musty to the point I bought a different blanket to use. Shower door had to be slammed to close. For the price I was very disappointed.

Summary: The hillside cottage was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. We all have been coming to Hermann for 15 years and needed a bigger place this time around. The Hillside Cottage was ok to stay. Big kitchen as we all cook while we are there. Living room was ok but not comfortable for 8 of us to play games but we made it work. We had to go out and buy toilet paper as there was only 4 rolls when we arrive and that was gone by Saturday night. Bring your own bed pillow as the ones there were not very good. The towel situation could have been better too. I would recommend if your expectations are not high. Its just an OK place to stay. I will end with we stayed at this cottage some years ago and had a much better stay than this time. Something obviously changed.
