There is a small futon upstairs in the crows nest. A new deck with a grill. Summary: The scenery from the house was exceptional! So beautiful. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was that the kitchen counters were not clean...food (rice) and crumbs on the counters and sticky in spots so we needed to give it a good cleaning that way. Also the dishes in the dishwasher were not clean. But other than that it was wonderful. The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable...great shower pressure. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Summary: This property had lots of space for our whole family including 4 bedrooms, roomy kitchen, large dining and living room and our favorite place - the crows nest. The crow's nest had great views of the woodsy surrounding area and was great for morning coffee gatherings and pre-dinner drink times. Large windows in the entire living area made you feel like you were right there in the woods!

Summary: Stunning panoramic view, hundreds of feet above the surrounding terrain. Beautiful Lake Mercer at base of the hill with pontoon rentals. We have stayed twice and would like to return. Overall, a wonderful place.

Summary: The house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone! Well stocked. Very woodsy yet close to town. The kids loved the crows nest! I would definitely open the bottom floor as a game room! Pet friendly! We will be back!

Summary: Generally well kept and extremely well stocked with all the necessity. The "Crow's Nest" was definitely a hit for nature watching. We have to drive up a moderately steep gravel road to get to the house, which gave a sense of adventure. All the places of interest were relatively close by vehicle. There is even a state park at the entrance of Mercer Lake road. The only suggestion I would add for the host is to add a yellow strip on the edge of the stairs leading to the front door. I have a little depth perception issue and almost tripped down the concrete stains. However, after I caught my initial fall, I compensated for it visually. Other than that, this place comes highly recommended!
