Positive: This was our second stay at Hillview Cottage and the experience this year was every bit as great as last year's visit. Visiting a place for the first time (February 2024) you never know what to expect and the experience we had was superb. Coming back then you have high expectations and wonder will those expectations be met. No need to wonder as our expectations were not only met but exceeded once again. The warm and friendly greeting from Majella is what you expect from an Irish home and the layout and ambience of the cottage exudes a whole host of Irish charm. We will certainly be making a further trip to Hillview Cottage, hopefully for a longer stay next time too. Mo ghuí is fearr leat Ciarán

Positive: place was excellent, so clean and big and everything worked well. Gorgeous place to stay only 10 mins from town. Will definitelty be back!

Positive: The location was great and just what we were looking for. It was peaceful and quiet and a car is needed. The facilities were great with a fully equipped kitchen it had everything we required. We were met on arrival by a family member and shown around the cottage.
Negative: Everything was great the only thing was the signal to the tv kept dropping so Netflix was a problem but for just a 1 night stay this was not an issue for us at all.

Positive: The location was beautiful with nice views. The family dogs Bella and Millie were the sweetest. Homemade bread was on the kitchen table. The kitchen was fully equipped. Very roomy
Negative: The dryer did not work. We were surprised with having a wash machine and dryer but after washing our clothes we discovered the dryer would not work so we had to leave with a bag of wet clothes

Positive: We were welcomed in the drive and felt right at home. Two friendly dogs there and a working farm, even got to see a few day old calf :) We were shown around our accommodation and it had everything we needed plus more. Very clean and comfortable! Loved the homemade bread with butter, jam and milk in the fridge for us. If your looking for a homely comfortable stay with amazing accommodating hosts then this is your place! Highly recommend.

Positive: The accommodation was excellent! Spacious, clean, and nicely appointed. Majella and Pat (the hosts) were gracious, welcoming, and helpful. Lovely people! Very spacious, comfortable cottage with a beautiful view in a quiet location close to everything we wanted to see/access.
Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.
