Summary: Property lacking in amenities. In the bathroom, no q tips, cotton pads / cotton balls. Tissue box empty and not replaced. Coffee pods, sugar and creamer were not replaced after using. Coffee cup and plate was put out in the hallway by housekeeping and the dishes sat there in the hallway for almost a full day.

Summary: We had a lovely 3 night stay. It's in the heart of the city and perfect for quick trips back to the room when we're out seeing the various sights. Everyone was lovely and we are so glad we picked this hotel.

Summary: To begin with very rude front of house staff, demanded passport - I’m Scottish and wouldn’t travel with a passport to another city in my own country and didn’t have driving licence on me as we had taken the train. Had to get husband to send a picture of my passport. Thankfully he was at home. I was also travelling to go to a concert so had no physical cards on me and this wasn’t acceptable to staff either. When got to room no lights would go on and we went and checked with front desk they told me there had to be a light slot fur card - there wasn’t and they came to the room and had to apologise for that. There were workmen on our floor and by the time we got back to room with front house manager the lights were on - they definitely weren’t when we went to front desk Bathroom very old at mould in corners and warped door with water damage Not a nice pleasant experience and even showing my booking on the hotels.com app wasn’t good enough and at one point they were refusing to check us in

Summary: We stayed here for 2 nights and can say with complete honesty it lives up to the usual high standards associated with the Hilton brand. We ordered room service on night one which arrived in very quick time and tasted delicious everything we ordered was fresh and great quality. The beds at the Hilton are always a highlight for me with quality linens and amazingly comfortable pillows you’ll be sure to get a solid nights sleep after long hours exploring Edinburgh. Our room was ready for when we arrived at 10:30 and the staff at the desk were extremely helpful. My only foible with the room was that upon looking under our bed there was a small amount of litter from previous guests, maybe a one off due to the small amount however maybe something for the hotel to address. To conclude regardless of the small amount of litter found under the bed I would say this hotel deserves 5 stars for everything, I would highly recommend staying here and should I ever return to Edinburgh I would love to stay again.

Summary: Enjoyed my stay.The location was excellent and my primary result for selecting the Hilton. The staff were very helpful. My room was nicely furnished. Bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to have a small fridge in the room which is not always so in other hotels. I also felt safe with extra fitting which would prevent someone coming in if they manage to unlock the door. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
