Positive: Location in a relatively quieter area, on the waterfront near Hakaniemi market, and less then 2000m pleasant walk to the heart of the city. Otherwise nearby tram for a few stops, really practical and pleasant. Easy acces by car from airport. No need to get through city center trafic. Welcoming staff at the Reception desk and bar/restaurant. Great choice of food at breakfast, perhaps extra local touch might be welcome. Nice peaceful place to have a dinner (ground foor high open hall with a fireplace), light cuisine well made, day‘s fish meal (!), choice of wines large enough and generally fair pricing. Small sauna area at the top floor (separate for males and females) with access to a balcony for chilling out (backyard vew). Very small but useful swimming pool.
Negative: Ongoing waterfront works nearby may be distorbing on weekdays. Violent noise before 8am seems nonsene, because it stopped almost completely afer 9am.

Positive: Nice room with a canal view, big bathroom and a bathtub. Unique looking lobby. As of location is in the heart of Helsinki and next to the Redi shopping center. Parking available for 35e per day. Very friendly and professional staff at the hotel and the restaurant
Negative: Maybe the hairdryer could had been slightly more powerful, but it got the job done :)

Positive: I have stayed here many times. I love the locations and the comfort of the hotel. The staff are very professional yet friendly too. I shall return very soon.
Negative: The room was a tiny bit chilly at night. I missed the heated bathroom floor but understand that it was quite sunny and warm during my stay.
