Positive: The bed was super comfortable, the room was very well acoustically isolated and equipped with curtains for total darkness.

Negative: While I enjoyed my stay overall, there were a few areas that could use some improvement. The room and bathroom showed some signs of dust, particularly on the headboard and towel hooks — small details, but ones you'd hope to find addressed at a 4-star hotel. I also found myself without a hairdryer, and after two trips to reception it took a little while to get one sorted. The staff were helpful, but it did feel like a bit of an unnecessary inconvenience. The continental breakfast was pleasant enough, though at €19 I was expecting a slightly wider selection. A little more variety would go a long way. I hope these are useful points for the team to consider for a better experience.

Negative: They weren’t able to accommodate any of our requests. We stayed there a single night and there were two unexplained false fire alarms that they weren’t able to provide any explanation for. There was a single concierge left in the hotel for the night who (not out of any fault of his) wasn’t able to answer any of our questions, giving the impression that the hotel is very poorly staffed for the night - especially for the price. We were barely able to sleep after that, expecting a third alarm to sound. A bit of a walk from the city centre.

Negative: Evening/night reception desk team is below any possible hospitality business level, and absolutely not in line with what you’d expect to see at Hilton. Not only they are rude (notably Abdel) but also truly do not care about your wellbeing. We’ve decided to change from Novotel this time but I’d rather have worse room then dealing with people who wouldn’t care less about not working phone or missing bed for my child.
