Other Policy Please be informed that the christmas eve (december 24) and new year's eve (december 31) dinners are mandatory and included. on these nights all the resort restaurants, apart from the gala buffet, will be closed. room service will not be available either. please contact the hotel for further information, please note that moorea is a 7-minute flight or 30-minute catamaran ride from tahiti. hilton moorea lagoon resort and spa is located on the north coast of moorea, between cook's bay and opunohu bay. it is 20 minutes' drive from moorea airport and 25 minutes' drive from the moorea ferry dock, please contact the hilton moorea lagoon resort and spa reservations team 2 days in advance, to organize transfer from either the ferry dock or moorea airport (for a fee of xpf 1600 per person, each way, charged at check-out). you can contact the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation, if traveling by car from the airport or ferry dock, turn right onto the main road until you find the road sign with the hotel name. the hilton moorea lagoon resort & spa is located just 15 minutes by car from the village of maharepa, please note that due to renovations, our swimming pool as well as the rotui bar & grill will be closed between the 08th january 2024 and will reopen on the 20th march 2024, rest assured, all our other outlets will be operating as usual, ensuring you have a wide range of options to enjoy during your stay, as a result of the temporary closures, the property will offer a resort credit of xpf 5,000 per day/per room during the renovation period to be used at the property’s open restaurants, bars and spa.

Negative: The inventory in the bungalows is partly very outdated, especially in the outdoor area. One or two things could be replaced. This also applies to the SUPs, which are in a miserable condition

Positive: From the moment we arrived, the Hilton Moorea felt like stepping into a postcard. Its beautiful location on a private lagoon is nothing short of magical. Imagine waking up and being able to go snorkeling right on your doorstep, discovering a vibrant world of fish and beautiful coral – it was truly amazing! We also had so much fun with the kayaks readily available, exploring the crystal-clear waters. One of the things that stood out was the sheer spaciousness of the resort. There was always plenty of room to find a spot on the beach or by the pool, so you never felt crowded. But what truly made our stay special was the staff. Every single person we encountered was amazingly friendly and genuinely seemed to love their jobs and living in such a beautiful place. Their warmth and attentiveness made a real difference.
Negative: The only minor downside was the food. While certainly adequate, it wasn't my favourite part of the trip. I'm not sure if this is standard across the whole region, but for the price, it felt a little underwhelming. Despite the food, the overall experience at the Hilton Moorea was unforgettable. If you're looking for a slice of paradise with incredible natural beauty and wonderful service, this is the place to be.

Positive: It's a dreamy resort. The lagoon is incredible. I thought the photographs of these places were photoshopped, turns out it's all real and that's exactly how it looks like (or even better) on a nice day.
Negative: Prices of resort meals/drinks are high (breakfast is worth it though). Not much going on outside and near the resort, so you can't walk out and go to a shop or a restaurant

Negative: I had arrived at the Hilton and I was not registered with the Hilton. They accommodated myself and my husband but thus took over an hour not knowing if we could stay. They did not receive the updated booking which I had copies of when the update of the dates were done.

Positive: Rooms were clean and it was a cool experience to stay on the island. The pool boys were the friendliest staff on site.
Negative: For a 5 star hotel we honestly expected more from this hotel. Staff were for the most part bored and unhelpful. Hotel restaurants were sub par with average food and poor service for an expensive price. For a 5 star hotel they should have more to offer.
