Negative: The room 309 already showed signs of wear and prior use. We were four guests; however, there were only enough towels in the bathroom for two people, which is clearly insufficient. The television remote control appeared to have weak batteries, as it did not allow us to change channels, forcing us to switch the TV off directly on the device. During the night, we were awakened by a very disturbing noise, similar to construction work, which we later discovered was coming from the air conditioning system. We reported these issues to reception, where the staff responded promptly: the remote control was replaced, additional towels were provided, and the air conditioning was repaired. However, surprisingly, the room was not serviced afterwards — the beds were not made, and no cleaning was carried out. For a hotel of this category, such shortcomings are unacceptable, particularly the lack of sufficient towels and the failure to clean and tidy the room. That said, I would like to highlight the excellent service provided by a more experienced member of the reception staff (whose name I unfortunately did not note). He was extremely courteous, friendly, and showed full understanding regarding a minor issue with our credit card, acknowledging that the problem was not on our side but rather with the hotel’s reservations department. In contrast, the first, much younger staff member who assisted us, while not impolite, came across as rather cold and somewhat arrogant, possibly due to a lack of experience. Finally, I would also like to point out that the toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap) had an unpleasant rancid smell, suggesting they may have been past their expiry date, which is unacceptable for a five-star hotel.

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, where I spent three nights on my birthday, April 4, 2026. I highly recommend that anyone who needs help with anything contact “Mr. Mohamad” at the reception—he was very helpful and friendly, and I’d especially like to thank him for making my stay so pleasant. They also prepared a surprise for me and brought a birthday cake to my room, which was a very thoughtful gesture and really made my day. The breakfast there was really good, and I highly recommend it. I also tried the spa and got a one-hour massage from “Sissi”—she was fantastic. Overall, a great hotel with a fantastic view.

Positive: The hotel has an excellent location on the banks of the Danube. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable.

Negative: The hotel has a rather unusual rule — check-in starts at 4:00 PM. We were traveling with three children and had two rooms booked. One of the rooms was ready, but we had to wait until 5:00 PM for the second one. It’s hard to understand how the rooms couldn’t be prepared by that time, especially considering that check-out is at 12:00 There are a lot of people at breakfast in the hotel. I haven’t seen such a crowd at hotel breakfasts in a long time. The only thing I can recommend is to go for breakfast earlier, around 7:00–7:30 AM.
