Positive: Nice easy check-in, simple but adequate rooms, lovely breakfast and a lovely historic venue, beautiful grounds as well

Negative: The rooms were VERY warm even on a cooler day, but the reception team did have fans so that really helped.

Positive: One of my favourite places to stay in Leeds. Green, leafy Headingly is a great area to stay in. The building is wonderful with beautiful grounds. The accomodation is fairly basic but comfortable and clean. I would still pick this venue over hotels with more amenities because it's simply lovely. Plus free parking, a generous cooked, buffet breakfast and bus stop right outside with a direct route to the city centre.

Negative: There's nothing not to like but some people may want more amenities. Hot drinks are available from a kitchenette along the corridor, televisions are small, no a/c etc. My television was mounted high up on the wall above the wardrobe! (Glad I wasn't watching something with subtitles or I may have needed binoculars 😉) However, I would still choose Hinsley Hall over other options for a clean, comfy room, lovely staff, windows you can actually open and the beautiful gardens outside.
