Our guests enjoy easy access to everything the area has to offer from this centrally located Main Street home. Relax and enjoy the covered front porch or our back patio & firepit. We are just one block from the historic riverside waterfront where spectacular sunsets occur nightly, and you can watch the Jenny Ann Ferry cross the Ohio from 8am-8pm daily. Eateries, parks, shops and other local activities are all around you. Come and see why people fall in love with Augusta.
The space
Home has been fully updated and is ready for your visit. The first floor features a beautifully appointed kitchen, living room, a bedroom, 1.5 half baths with 2 large bedrooms & half bath upstairs. High speed internet, 55" TV w/streaming services and many other amenities designed to make your stay stress free.
Guest access
Our guests have full access to the home with the exception of the basement and a small storage area on the back porch. We are a work in progress, and when we aren't hosting guests, will be adding a few more finishing touches and updates, especially to our screened porch & outdoor areas.

We are happy to provide a list of festivals, riverboat visits and basic information on many area attractions. Augusta & Bracken County offer a large variety of experiences and activities, so whatever your interests, very likely you will find a venue to visit and scenery to enjoy!

Summary: Perfect accommodation for 5 sisters from Arizona. Plenty of room and we especially loved the front porch. Our stay coincided with Hurricane Helena but we still managed to keep busy with local shops, eateries, historic tours, and walks along the river in the rain! Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful home and Karen was wonderful to work with.

Summary: This was a fantastic weekend, led by th wonderful facilities enjoyed at this rental. Everything you could want was stocked in the kitchen, baths, parlor... three bedrooms all private. Huge back porch ideal for sitting when there is a slight breeze. RELAXATION!! Most importantly, the people of Augusta are fantastic. Youi will not meet a stranger. Host was very accommodating.

Summary: The home was beautiful and as described. It was the perfect location to walk to the river and the local pub and shops. The host has thought of everything including snacks and extra toiletries. A great experience!
