Positive: The fenced yard for my toddler. Location perfect in town by beach. Loved they had spices and plenty of options for cooking and fire pit.

Negative: The lawn needed mowed and I really wanted to mow it. There were coffee pots but surprised no coffee actually.

Negative: Had to share beds. Thank goodness fifth person could not come @ last minute

Summary: Good place to stay will consider same place if come back to Long Beach. Could not bring more people, only 2 beds

Positive: The lay out was unique, all the furniture was very comfortable, the kitchen was perfectly stocked for our cooking needs, and the decor was delightful.

Negative: The kitchen sink could be updated with a larger drain and a garbage disposal. I might've missed having a dishwasher a little, but I didn't mind getting back to basics. Bathroom is a bit small.

Positive: Perfect little bungalow style house. Love that it’s pet friendly and perfect size for our family of 4. Also really loved that the beach is about a 5min walk away.

Negative: The fire pit was very small. Would be better if they made it a little larger and a little deeper.

Positive: It's in walking distance to almost everything. They allow pets, but you can't smell that. Walking in smells wonderful. Very cute, and quirky, little house. The window from the bedroom to kitchen is weird, but we got a kick out of it. There are lots of board games (I organized them lol and made pegs for the cribbage board) they also have a kurig and a regular coffee pot. The Chinese place next door has the best egg rolls I've ever had.

Negative: The bed I was in wasn't washed. It was covered in black dog hair. Luckily though, there was a washer, so I just washed the bedding. No biggie. Everything else was clean. The stairs/ladder to the attic room were very steep, and the opening to get up there is narrow. Definitely best for kids ages 5 to 13.

Summary: Overall it was a great stay. It was definitely a new experience.

Negative: Unfortunately this cute old cottage is showing its age. It has a lot of work that needs to be done. More than a slap of paint can fix.
