This very special property is rented to only one fortunate family & their friends.
The deep aquamarine pool is 40' long with white rock Cabana is perfect for upscale al fresco entertaining. 2 Kitchens! A short walk down a quaint dirt lane to the Frio River. Lush, resort style landscaping on 5 acres of sublime, sun-kissed paradise!
Historic River House
The historic River House is the cornerstone of the Estate providing comfort for every generation. Built from rocks pulled out of the Frio River, vintage hardwood floors, bead board ceilings & plantation shutters capture the morning sunlight, yet offers cool shade in the evening. Comfortable indoor dining tables seat 18. The quaint breakfast kitchen #1 has vaulted ceilings, gas stove/oven & stainless appliances. There's a Texas-sized full bath & another 1/2 bath in the laundry room. Huge Master bedroom w/ original wood floors, romantic 4 poster King bed & custom built-in twin bunk beds. Kids daybed is tucked into an alcove.

Covered sitting porch off a private romantic, whitewashed oasis. Floor-to-ceiling white rock fireplace, wood floors,16’ vaulted ceiling, wooden beams & open air river rock shower. White & bright, this exceptional retreat has the 2nd commercial grade kitchen, with wood floors, vaulted ceilings & (2) sets of French doors overlooking the pool. There's 3 stainless gas ovens, 4 sinks, 6 burner gas range & HUGE center island to make large scale family meals a breeze. The covered porch has a dining table overlooking the pool & tropical landscaping. Outdoor sound system & romantic night time lighting. Private bedroom has vaulted ceiling, w/ 2 twin bunk beds. Pretty bathroom w/ river rock shower & wood floors.
Pool House
Step thru French doors into a romantic, private, white-washed oasis. King size 4 poster bed, vaulted ceilings & wood floors. Large spa-like ensuite bath w/ marble sinks & floor-2-ceiling tile shower.
The Bunk House
White, bright & upscale. Vaulted ceiling, wood floors, 2 twin bunk beds w/ large, handsome ensuite bath & spacious tile shower. Peeks at pool.

Summary: We had a great time at the compound. Having two kitchens was a huge plus. 2 Bbq pits fire were great for steaks and dove poppers and pool and outdoor bar location worked out very well for our large group. We would definitely book again.

Summary: This place was nice! We came here with family and friends with the intention to float the river. Since the river was low, this place worked out perfectly to keep us entertained for a couple of days. We loved the individual buildings to provide more privacy. It was great to have the pool and bar area with the tv for movie night and the kids really enjoyed the ping pong table! We would recommend this place to friends.

Summary: We booked Agave Point specifically because it gave each of our adult children a private house with a private bathroom so we didn’t have to share between our large family. The bathrooms in all the homes were large and fully updated. There were two full kitchens one in the river house and one in the bunk house. The bunk house kitchen was better supplied with utensils and had a very nice large island, double oven and stove. The river house had a regular stove refrigerator and microwave and also an extra refrigerator outside on the deck which was a plus to keep all our drinks in while spending time at the pool or relaxing on one of the porches or beautiful lawn. Nanette was so gracious and understanding as prior to our arrival we had just gone through a horrible hurricane in Pasadena and were without power for two days prior to our trip and she made it possible for us to check in a few hours early which we did and enjoyed the AC very much. We had a few minor issues with one refrigerator and the drainage of one of the showers but maintenance came over quickly and fixed everything immediately. The river was not floatable at all but the kids had fun wading and we enjoyed spending time in the pool very much. I would definitely come back again. We had a group of 14.

Summary: This spot is both beautiful and serene. I loved the individual cabins. The outdoor space was gorgeous. The pool was a great size for a bunch of teenagers. The only negative (if you even want to consider it a negative) is there isn't a large living/family room for everyone to gather out in one spot of the heat. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home and I would definitely rent again.

Summary: Great place to stay! Recently stayed with a large group and loved that we all got our own little cottage and bathroom for each family. Pros: lots of amenities on the property, you wouldn’t ever have to leave as it has everything right there! The pool was amazing. Café lights throughout the whole property that made a stunning during the night time. Cons: -overall, the property was not very clean. I talked to the property manager at the end of our stay and she said they had somebody different clean it prior to our party staying. Things like hair in the shower from previous guests, nose marks on the windows from a dog, dust on the blinds, dried food in the kitchen. - we ordered the $250 linen package. Was disappointed when the linens were not put on all the beds they were just laid out. Also only came with a flat sheet. Would expect all beds to be ready when you pay that price. Overall would def stay again! Had a great stay!

Summary: Our stay at Agave Point was wonderful. Hosts were readily available and very responsive. Property was everything we expected -- clean, well-kept, comfortable. Plenty of space for our extended family to spread out, have their own spaces, and come together for meals and swimming at the pool. Overall, just a fantastic experience and highly recommend.
