Summary: We enjoyed staying in such a beautifully preserved historic property! The location to the Main Street with coffee and restaurants was a short hilly walk and very enjoyable. It’s also walking distance to the river rentals. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the kitchen was well outfitted. Great experience.

Summary: We had a great stay at the yellow home! We loved the historical charm of the home and also the little city of Taylors Falls. The home has all the old world charm with modern amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Every detail was thought out and we felt very much at home there.

Summary: Loved the property and its location. Lots to see and do in the area with very easy access either by foot or car. House accomodations excellent. Everything that we needed was there. Would stay there again.

Summary: The Fox House was a very cute, well-furnished, mid-1800's home updated for contemporary living. In fact, the house is historically the first in Taylor's Falls. Great windows that looked onto large trees. Well landscaped with good night lighting and plenty of outdoor areas to relax. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking and had all anyone would need for a short term rental. Bed was comfortable and fireplace was a nice touch. The absence of a TV was most welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: FILO may not be a real inventory management acronym, but for us as the first guests of the cozy, peaceful, historical residence in a beautiful neighborhood in a beautiful corner of the world, First In Last Out is how we wish our enjoyment of the space could be.
