Built in 1928, this Georgian-style home will offer you, your family, your friends, and your furry companions an opportunity to experience the historic charm of Southern Pines and the surrounding areas. The home is located conveniently on the west end of downtown Southern Pines, walkable to all of the dining, shopping, and recreation that Broad Street has to offer, including:
Red's Corner outdoor bar and food truck plaza - 1/4 mile
Rec Room Arcade Bar - 1/4 mile
Hatchet Brewing Company - 1/2 mile
Newly-Renovated Southern Pines Golf Club - 1/2 mile

The Southern Pines Retreat is a 4 Bedroom, 3.5 Bathroom home set in a quaint residential area of Southern Pines. Some of the oldest and largest longleaf pines and magnolia trees in the area are here in the yard for you to admire.

- Large 6-seat hot tub
- Large driveway with room for several vehicles
We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including cookware, spices and pantry items, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.
We do not allow events or parties of any kind. We have a strict maximum of 10 guests. Please, under no circumstances, can there be more than 10 guests in the home at a time.
We will consider your 4 legged canine family members on a case-by-case basis and a $200 pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs be allowed in or on any of the furniture and kenneled/crated if left home alone. Please note - we can not accept your feline family members as guests at this time. No cats allowed in the home.

Master Bedroom (upstairs): 1 King Bed with large private full bath, including dual vanities, a walk in shower and soaking tub
Bedroom #2 (upstairs): 1 King Bed, shared full bath in hallway
Bedroom #3 (upstairs): 2 Twin Beds (trundle) and 1 Full Bed, shared full bath in hallway
Bedroom #4 (main level) - private suite with Queen bed and full bath
Early Check-in and/or late Check-Out may be arranged for additional $100 fees each (subject to availability).

Summary: Few of my college buddies and myself came down here to celebrate one of our friends getting married. We spent the weekend playing golf and just hanging out. The whole experience from beginning to end from the VRBO standpoint was nothing short of exceptional. The house was clean and in top shape. The property manager responded quickly with any questions we might had. An overall great weekend and definitely will be using VRBO again in the future!

Summary: The owners of this property did a great job of making upgrades to the historic structure close to all we needed and making it more useable in this day and age..We came for our daughter's baby shower. It served as a great place to meet. It had everything we needed to serve our needs. Highly recommend it for others.

Summary: The house was perfect with the yard for our dog. He loved seeing birds and squirrels and the neighbors dogs. The house needed a heavier cleaning but I know it is pollen season. We would go again when we visit our relatives in the future.

Summary: We had the best stay at this property! There were 8 of us and our dog. Everything about this place was great. Close to great restaurants, Reds Corner, the Barcade and stores. We were comfortable, plenty of room! Even the dog loved the yard space. The property manager was extremely responsive when we had to contact him and even went the extra mile for us!!

Summary: The home was beautiful with plenty of parking for all guests and the rooms were as presented on VRBO. All was clean and presentable. The home was within walking distance to downtown Southern Pines as well as other closer restaurants/pubs. We were a group of couples looking for a golf getaway weekend, so the location was perfect! Would recommend this property and book again for our next stay!

Summary: Amazing property. We had a multi (4) generational group. Everything was great. Kitchen was perfect for the few times we did cook. We liked the Sky Fox Pub and the food truck park within a 5 minute walk. Easy off street parking for 4 vehicles. The home was great and comfortable. Hope to return with friends to golf for a bit.

Summary: Our nephew's wedding created the opportunity for family members to attend and have a reunion. We needed a home that slept 7. The house was perfect. Great size, nice kitchen that was fully equipped, laundry room with supplies and a back yard with covered porch. Only small glitch was a slow drain in one of the bedrooms.
