Summary: Beautiful cottage renovated to original historical condition with all modern amenities. Beds were super comfortable and cozy. Grateful for the added feature of the outdoor fire stove to keep mosquitoes at bay.

Summary: This is a lovely house, right on the water, with lots of big windows so the main room is filled with light. (It got a bit warm on hot days, as there are no curtains or shades on the main room windows, but there was only one really warm day when I was there.) The upstairs rooms are also very nice -- it is a full floor, but being directly under the roof gives a bit of a "loft" feel. It is in a row of houses on a road off the Indian Island road, but this is the end house, so from inside you only see one house next to it. The views out the main room windows are of the water. From this location one has easy driving access to Kouchibuguac National Park (north) and places north and south of the Indian Island area. I'm not sure the kitchen would work well for people who wanted to do a lot of cooking -- while fully equipped, it is arranged in an inconvenient way, with no work or counter space next to the sink and stove (not even space for a dish drainer next to the sink). But for a holiday it's fine.

Summary: We loved the property and the comfort of the cottage. The kitchen has everything you need and the layout is simple and easy to live in with a family of four for a week. Perfect location to be away but close enough to Moncton and Kouchibouguac beach for sunny hot days. Lovely cottage!
