Summary: This cabin was exactly as described and the perfect place to relax. The river is about 10-15 steps from the back of the cabin and. you can hear the water the whole time and you can see it from the back of the house. It was relaxing to sit on the back porch and just listen to the water and the leaves rustling. Can't ask for a better place to stay and relax. We brought water with us, but we used the tap water for coffee and bathing and it wasn't bad. I will be back.

Summary: This was a repeat visit for us, and we loved it again. The cabin has great ambiance, comfortable furniture, and lots of amenities. The location is fantastic right on the river and close enough to Mt. Hood to drive up for the day. The house and grounds are relaxing and enjoyable for adults and children. The video library is nice. The shopping center nearby has a big enough market and several restaurants and a bakery. We were happy to see that one of our suggestions was implemented. We still think there needs to be more lights. The house can be difficult to find, so be aware. The house is quite rustic, so keep that in mind. And we love the doorman, who is always there waiting for us when we return from an outing.

Summary: Zoe's Cabin is a lovely getaway in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The cabin has a lovely rustic charm. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has most everything you need, and vibes overall are very relaxing. The backyard has a hammock and chairs to use to enjoy the view of the Sandy River. The part of the river you have access to maybe isn't the best for swimming as it's very rocky and the current moves by pretty fast. My only real complaint is that the water smells rusty and the shower is definitely outdated and doesn't get very hot. Besides that, it's a lovely place for a weekend getaway.
