Summary: We had seven people in our party and we stayed for eight days with plenty of room. The kitchen was a bit small and the fold out beds were well, fold out beds. But other than that, it’s an amazing location right on the river with plenty of fishing to be done out the back door.

Summary: We rented this house at first simply because it was only a few miles from our son and family. Turned out to be much better than expected.We come to the area 2-3 times a year and love the Madison River area. This is not your ordinary rental on the Madison River.Wonderful Historic House in a beautiful setting with 360 degree views. Lots of safe flat lawn area for our grand children to play. Interesting walk down to the creek that flows to and from the Madison. Great fishing. Owners went extra mile with books, videos, brochures, as well as information on the property itself. Old style bath fixtures in bathrooms with high water pressure with steaming hot water. Easy drive to Ennis. House sits inside Ranch which gives rural feel in addition to vacation home feel with access to Madison. Best of both worlds. Good Wi Fi and cell service. Coming back in summer to enjoy the restored cabin and eating area alongside. Everything was "just right".
