Summary: We had a great experience in a spectacular location. Host was great and her property was wonderful. We even got to see a moose in the backyard.

Summary: For a couple, this is a big, spacious place, quiet and private with high ceilings, lots of light and a lovely interior, including a bedroom with a nice soft bed. We were in the Fairplay area over Xmas holidays and we loved the Christmas box that greeted us with an amazing homemade honey cake! Janet is a very capable and experienced host and we really appreciated her hospitality. It's about 15-20 min. south of Fairplay in an area with spectacular views. The last 7 miles is a dirt road, which was graded and an easy drive in the summer, but in the winter much of it was washboard - my husband has no problem driving this type of road, but I learned to be aware of this for winter travel...

Summary: We were very happy with this vacation rental. It was a good size for me and two sons (8 & 17) and served us well as a somewhat central location to see CO Springs destinations as well as Breck, Copper Mountain, and Vail. We ended up driving a lot of miles, but got the Rocky Mountain feel that we would not have had if we had stayed in CO Springs. We never met Janet, but she was friendly and welcoming in her emails and phone call.

Summary: If you like being a hermit, this is the perfect place, nestled at 10,000 feet in the aspen trees. The apartment is fully furnished with plenty of room. It is very clean and ready for a guest or guests.
