The history of this Southern home will blow you away! It was built back in the 1800’s on the Biloxi River and was the home of the Stiglets who bought it after the Civil War for logging and shipping trade. An unusual feature of the home is an in-door well from which water was drawn and is still there today. This home features a beautifully updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops; a full size washer and dryer, and central heat & air. Kitchen is equipped with all the necessities. The living room has a 55 inch flat screen TV (no cable-sign in to your apps), leather couch & recliner. Outside there is a PRIVATE in-ground pool, outdoor kitchen/bar/grill with toilet/shower area and fireplace. It all sits on 2.1 acres!

Combine country charm, a natural setting, and a historical background for a relaxing getaway. Swing on the front porch & enjoy the waterfront views or bring a pole & go fishing.

The entry doors and some doors throughout the house are NOT wheelchair accessible. No heating available for pool and the hot tub is NOT functional. Garage acces not included in rental.

Summary: The place was exactly as advertised. We loved the seclusion, but within in 20 minutes of the attractions. pool was awesome and the cove leading the the river was a great view

Summary: Our group can’t say enough about this property. It is unique from other homes we have stayed at and we loved it. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out inside and out. The view and pool were amazing.

Summary: Family trip to celebrate Mom’s 65th birthday. Perfect location, everything is minutes away but far enough out to relax from the hustle and bustle. The pool and outside kitchen are the perfect relaxation spot. The house is old and quaint but with all the modern amenities of home. Not your run of the mill vacation home.

Summary: The property manager communicated well, but unfortunately we had multiple problems during our stay. The gas grill ran out of fuel while we were cooking. We brought the food inside to finish in the oven. Food was covered with tin foil & roaches still managed to get in our food. We ended up ordering pizza. The bathroom located in the bedroom off the kitchen is infested with termites. We closed the door & put a towel at the bottom of the door to prevent the bugs from coming out. I get the house is an older home so if you keep that in mind & don't care about bugs its probably ok. Overall, its a beautiful property and the pool is the best part! The house just needs to be maintained for so visitors can enjoy all of the amenities.

Summary: Can’t say enough about this property! We spent the entire weekend outside - in the pool, sitting at the poolside bar, or exploring the property. Kids didn’t want to leave - and we’ll be back!

Summary: The house was very unique! Received a lot of compliments from the family during the Reunion. The pool was great!. Plenty of shade where we set up tables for our meals for 2 days. Wish I had brought my fishing gear to fish the Biloxi River.
