Positive: An absolute paradise! We spent a wonderful week at Hiša Erlah and it was perfect. Superb Location: The house is located in a stunning, peaceful area. It is just a few minutes' walk from the bus station, beautiful hiking trails, and the magnificent Lake Bohinj. A perfect base for nature lovers. Warm Hospitality: The hosts, Vanja and Blaž, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with every request we had. Our room was very cozy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Amazing Breakfast & Extras: The breakfast was rich and delicious, served in a warm, homely lounge with breathtaking mountain and garden views. We especially loved the 24/7 hot drinks station. They also leave the fresh fruits and delicious desserts from breakfast out for guests all day. It was so nice to return after a long day of hiking, relax in that cozy space, and enjoy a sweet treat with a hot drink. We would absolutely love to stay here again on our next trip. Highly recommended! Thank you Vanja and Blaž so much for everything!

Positive: Excellent vibes, wonderful hosts, fantastic breakfast with loads of fresh fruit and homemade cakes and a fantastic area. Everything about this stay was perfect! We were so close to the lake and there were SUPS, Kayaks and bikes to borrow as well as having so many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Wonderful space to relax in after a long hike and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay excellent!

Positive: Location to the lake was superb! A 5-10 minute walk at most. Staff were great and friendly. Lovely views.
Negative: No Air conditioning- we had a room fan so that helped but it was 36c and hot - a/c would make this a 10

Positive: A helyszín, a design, a szállásadó hozzáállása, a reggeli, a tisztaság nagyszerű volt. Rugalmasan kezelték az érkezésünket.
Negative: Az ágyunk nagyon kényelmetlen volt. Óriási gödör volt mind a két oldalán az ágynak, érdemes lenne cserélni. Sajnos a folyosóról minden behallatszik, de ha olyan vendégek vannak, akik erre tekintettel vannak, akkor ez kevésbé okoz problémát.

Positive: The Bohinj area is spectacular. Hiša Erlah is nestled in a beautiful, peaceful valley just a 5-minute walk from the gorgeous lake and some nice hiking trails. They have paddleboards and kayaks that you can borrow for free — being out on that lake is so dreamy. It’s also only a 2-minute walk from a great restaurant, and an 8-minute walk from Camp Bohinj, a busy campsite with a fun vibe, beach, and pizzeria/bar. My seven year old loved the playground in front of the inn. The breakfast room is cozy with lovely views, and the breakfast itself was very good. We also really appreciated how they left out fruit and pastries throughout the day for snacking, plus unlimited tea and coffee. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Hiša Erlah to others.
Negative: We knew going in that there was no air conditioning. We thought the cool evenings and a fan would be enough, but despite propping the door open overnight, the room stayed warm and made it difficult to sleep. (Plus, keeping the door open meant it got bright early.) There is a tourist bus stop right outside the inn, which didn’t affect the peaceful vibes or beauty of the valley, but I had imagined the inn to be more isolated so was just a bit surprised. A few small things: the bright motion-sensor light in the toilet disturbed sleep (though we solved it by unscrewing the lightbulb overnight). It would have been great to have guest laundry facilities (though you can use the laundromat at the campsite nearby). A guest microwave would be nice, particularly since there is (helpfully!) a guest fridge. The lack of a shower door meant the bathroom floor got soaked no matter how much we tried to angle the showerhead towards the wall. We also thought it was a bit odd that they did not provide shampoo or conditioner given the high price — and how generous the inn was in other ways.
Summary: Lovely, peaceful inn in a gorgeous place with a few imperfections

Positive: Excellent location close to the lake for swimming and hiking. Walking distance to restaurants. Fantastic breakfast!
Negative: Our room had just one window that opened onto the outside stairs so couldn’t have it wide open and with no air con was a bit warm.
Summary: Great base for hiking, swimming etc. Owners were so helpful and friendly.

Positive: The property was serene, peaceful and perfectly located 5 minutes walk from the lake. There are SUPs, kayaks and bikes that can be used whenever you like for free and there is also a hot tub which is perfect straight after a cold dip in the water! The rooms were perfectly comfortable, the communal area is a great place to relax, and the hosts were very friendly. We got engaged the day after that we arrived and this property was I’ll always have a special place in our hearts
