This Lodge is now open as of July 18th, 2022! Laikyn’s Lodge has over 6,500 sq. ft. of living space. Includes 8 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Includes large wrap around deck with indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Lodge features a 15x30 fiberglass indoor pool that can be enjoyed year-round. Lodge also includes a large hot tub, and fire pit area. One of the best features of this property is the breath-taking view of this lodge. Another great thing about this lodge is its proximity to the city of Logan with many restaurants and shopping stores as well as its proximity to many hiking attractions that hocking hills has to offer. It is right where you want to be!
Upstairs layout:
4 private bedrooms each with a queen bed. 2 full bathrooms. Loft with sleeper sofa and chair. Sleeping up to 11 people.
Main floor layout:
Living room with 65” hdtv with direct tv and blu ray player, fireplace and leather couches. Two dining areas seating up to 20 people. Large kitchen with bar seating, stainless steel microwave, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Master bedroom with king bed and full walk-in luxurious shower bathroom. Floor also includes entry way area, half bath, and great views of the outdoors!
Covered decking around the entire main floor with outdoor fireplace, picnic tables, 4 burner gas grill, and numerous seating options to take in the peace and beauty of the Hocking hills.
Downstairs layout:
Massive game room with pool table, arcade games, card table, leather couches, 82” hdtv with direct tv. 3 bedrooms. 2 full bathrooms.
Bedroom 1- Queen bed and twin sized bunk bed.
Bedroom 2- Queen bed and twin sized bunk bed.
Bedroom 3- customized queen/ twin bunks. Includes 2 queen beds and 2 twin sized beds.
Covered deck with swinging chairs, picnic table, massive 8-person hot tub, access to fire pit area and again great views of the valley.
Pool house layout:
Features an 15x30 fiberglass in-ground salt water heated swimming pool with steps and benches for seating. Stamped concrete flooring with cathedral ceilings and skylights, full of windows and great views. Pool house also has a full bathroom.
Off the pool house is another massive deck great for star gazing at night, gathering area, dancing area, could be used even as a beautiful place to get married! Has picnic table and a few lounging options to relax and again take in the beautiful scenery this place has to offer.
Other notes:
Each bathroom features luxurious tile adding to the beauty of this cabin. Features approximately 3500’ of decking alone! Can sleep up to 26 people comfortably. Sits on 8 acres of privately owned land. Built in 2022. Asphalt black top drive and parking added in spring of 2023.
Towels, linens, cooking utensils, board games, spices, cooking appliances are all provided.

Summary: We held our daughter’s wedding at this beautiful cabin! The front porch provided a stunning setting with an amazing view for ceremony, and the large dining area/living room provided a charming space for our dinner reception. We had approximately 70 guests, and it was slightly crowded, but because of the weather we were unable to use the uncovered deck area which would have allowed us to spread out more. Parking was a bit of a challenge, and we decided to shuttle most people due to the limited parking space and steep drive. Our family was able to enjoy the pool, hot tub, fireplaces, and more the entire weekend allowing us to have a wonderful time together and make so many memories. Ann and Bobby were very responsive and accommodating! They were quick to answer all of my questions and provided anything we could have needed in the house!

Summary: The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s absolutely amazing. You can tell the owners thought of everything and really care about the property. Relaxing, fun, incredible view. The pool is in great shape. The owners had Great and pleasant communication. We have stayed at many Vrbos and this has been our best stay overall. This might not matter to some people but even the checkout is easy, only asks you to do a couple of things whereas other places have had a laundry list to complete the morning of checkout.

Summary: Just as pictured, the lodge is a beacon of beauty on top of a hill, rising up from the wooded curves of Hocking Hills. The 15 of us gathered for 5 days to celebrate. This is a space of celebration. Ann, the host, was incredibly responsive. She put up anChristmas tree especially for us, despite it being before Thanksgiving. My wife sadly is dying from cancer and we chose to have both family holidays together in her honor. The lodge: its pool , game room, family table, kitchen counter, all enabled our emotional expressions from joy to tears and hugs and adult sharing while kids slept upstairs or played downstairs. We loved this place! We would return. The tweens loved discovering in the woods, finding a great play space at a creek bend, as much as hiking the Old Man’s Cave. The house, large as it is, warmed quickly through heat or fireplace. This is a magical place!

Summary: Annual family vacation. We choose Laikyns Lodge because we love the Hocking Hills area, the indoor pool, the hot tub and the variety and number of bedrooms. We had a small problem and the host responded right away. This lodge had EVERYTHING you need, from towels in bathrooms and pool towels, to every appliance imaginable in the kitchen (including air fryer). Only kitchen tool we could not find was a can opener (electric or manual). It probably was there somewhere but we managed. LOL. Would definitely stay again
