Summary: The whole week went great. Easy check in/out, fully updated, everything we needed was there. Loved the access to the three kayaks and one canoe. Owner provided great tips on where to swim, boat and eat. Had a good time, thank you!

Summary: The cottage was a great spot for four of us to meet and have a relaxed weekend together. We loved how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies, coffee maker, etc. and the Tv/wifi setup was great also. I believe we were the first guests in a while, as the patio and outside seating was full of leaves and sticks. Hopefully for summer it will be clear and ready to go!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The bunkhouse set up was perfect for our family, giving our teenage children a bit of independence, while allowing the parents to enjoy some peace and quiet. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We were able to easily dock our pontoon at this property. Kids loved the kayaks and quiet bays and islands to explore. Enjoyed a family movie and game night on the one rainy night we had. Would definitely stay at this cabin again! Thanks so much!!!

Summary: Dealing with three rental entities was inconvenient and the communication between the three was poor or nonexistent. The maintenance crew was still on site working when we arrived. There was only one space for boat docking as the second dock was not secured to the shore. The TV and wifi were inoperable. Todd was helpful and moved the pontoon boat so we could tie up both boats. We were there to fish so we made the best of the situation and had a good time. We have rented several vrbo properties for hunting and fishing and this is the first negative experience we have had.

Summary: We were very excited to come to this property. The property is not very clean. The carpet in the bunk room is very dirty and the walls and kitchen were not very clean as well. We chose to leave this property due to the cleanliness and stayed in a hotel.

Summary: Let me start by saying, it's a good thing we are a laid back, happy group of women, because I believe that some would have had a tough time with this. I guess our surprise first off was the fact that the Bunk House was a bedroom area connected by a bathroom, which made for a problem when someone was using the bathroom and someone from the bunk house walked in. We were not aware by what we read on line that it was set up that way. Also, someone taking a shower that stayed in the bunk house had to run back outside to change clothes in the bunk house! One bathroom shared by 10 people is tough, but we knew that going in. We had problems with the TV for a very long time (it would not even turn on) after calling one of the men who ran the cabin, they explained that it could be a breaker. He was on his way our of town, so he told us we could try to fix it ourselves. The basement however (where the breaker is) was thru a door which you accessed under the bed in one of the bedrooms. It was a "trap door" under the bed. This is how I would explain it to someone. So we attempted. It was too dark to see or find it, so we moved the bed back and went on. After a while a second man, came to our door to help us with the problem and he was able to go down into the basement and fix it. (both men were very helpful). Not that TV was so important but some of the women wanted to watch college football so we needed to access the TV. One of the women left Saturday morning from a TERRIBLE night of sleeping on a bed in the bunk house, we found out later that the bed she slept on had no mattress, just a box spring. She was not aware of this when getting into bed that night, and did not want to make a fuss, so she just left the next day. The heating was a bit strange as one bedroom was cold, the bedroom was a sauna and the living room kitchen area was average. The bunk house had it's own heating element. On Saturday we again tried to access college games and worked on that for a long time as their TV set up depends on the client having some sort of streaming device, which we finally figured out. Unfortuanely by Saturday evening two more women left because of the showering/bathroom situation and the beds in the bunk house were uncomfortable. The overall look of the cabin from the website was very cute and updated, but we found it to not be very clean. Cobwebs inside and outside (on house). Like a mentioned, it's a good thing we were a happy group. Most would have left.

Summary: This is at a perfect midway location on the lake. Protected bay from the elements. Lots of parking area for vehicles and trailers.

Summary: The newly remodeled cabin was very nice for my family get together. On the quiet backwaters of Lake Holcomb, we were able to kayak and canoe and enjoy the peaceful parts of the lake. We rented a pontoon and also enjoy getting out in the open water of like Holcombe flowage. Since the house had 2 sections, it provides additional privacy for some family members.
