Summary: The apartment, veranda, and gardens were beautiful. The veranda looks out over the city of Aosta with views of the alps. The living area is bigger than the pictures imply. The bed is on the small side but there is also a pull out couch. You can walk into town but the way back is steep. We drove the 6 minutes into town for dinners and exploring the Roman ruins. We took day trips to Chamonix and various local hikes and castles. Everything is within an hour or so from the apartment. Giorgio was very helpful when we had questions and guided us to hikes and restaurants as needed. There is one seafood restaurant within a 3 minute walk. A very enjoyable stay!
