Summary: We were staying during the summer season, so it wasn't as busy as in the winter. However, we absolutely loved Salla and the Holiday Club there! There is everything you need in the cottage and you can reach the hiking trails directly from the doorstep. We had a great vacation, thank you!

Summary: We had a fab time and stayed in a lovely log cabin - was clean and perfect for two adults and a nine year old. The resort was very quiet with two places to eat that were walkable. We really enjoyed the skiing, was approx 160 euros per day for two adults and a child for equipment hire and lift passes. The only downside was that the pool and gym were quite expensive to use - 45 euros for three people to swim and 6 euros to use the gym that were both part of the hotel. Also make sure you stock up on supplies before you get there in Salla if you dont have a car - there is only a tiny shop on site and was no milk while we were there. Also arrange transport before you get there! We were stung with taxis' that cost 630 euros in total to get to and from the airport
