Summary: We absolutely lovely this holiday home because it was a real home from home. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed to cook meals and to wash clothes. The bed was really comfortable. It was the biggest bed I have ever had in a rental property and the bedrooms were nice and large. The views of the marina were fantastic. Excellent fishing in the marina. We like the fact that there was a restaurant within walking distance and a shop if we ever need anything in emergency. But supermarkets were only half an hour's drive away - either in Oban or Lochgilphead. All in all an excellent place to stay for a holiday.

Summary: We had a lovely 3 weeks. It was one of the best accomodations we ever had. The house is very clean, very cosy and furnished and decorated lovingly and without unnecessary nic-nac. Especially the bathroom and the kitchen were very clean. We loved the conservatory!

Summary: The details and instructions were absolutely spot on. Beautiful little street of houses tucked away from the fast pace of life. The house was very clean and tidy, with all you need for a perfect stay including WiFi. One of the best self-catering houses we have ever stayed in. We loved watching the wildlife and the boats at the marina from the lovely, comfortable conservatory at the back of the house. The evening sunsets over the marina were amazing. We went to the local pub 'Lord of the Isles' and had food, it was very well cooked and presented. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Everyone we met was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The pub also had Gluten Free options on the menu which was fab, as we needed this. Only about 30 mins in the car to Oban, where there are plenty of supermarkets and shops. We visited the Oban Chocolate Company which hand makes all its own produce and has a large selection of Gluten Free chocolates and a very pleasant coffee shop to sit in and watch the ferries go by. It was very easy to visit a lot of other beautiful places near by, such as Seil Island and Easdale Island. We took the ferry to Mull for our teenagers to see Tobermory (Balamory) that they remember from their childhood tv days! We also took a boat trip to see the seal colonies. We had such a wonderful stay, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Craobh Haven to anyone. Louise Simpson

Summary: This is our second stay at No. 8 and no less disappointing. It really is the most amazing cottage that has an owner who goes that little bit extra. You do not need to leave Craobh Haven as there is a pub less than a minute walk with hidden coves and forest walks too.

Summary: We had a great 2 week stay here while we travelled around the surrounding locations. The cottage itself is well decorated, well equipped, very comfortable and a home from home. The village is very quiet but also stuff going on at the marina, pub & giving tree opposite. Having a small shop at the pub was very handy. The pub nearby was great and we had some lovely walks & the guys went fishing. We had to go further afield for some flat cycle paths for gentle cycles as a family. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We have had the most perfect week at No 8 with our 3 children and dog. The cottage is warm, well equipped and the beds are so comfortable! The view from the kitchen and conservatory over the marina and islands is stunning. There are a myriad of beautiful walks both from the door and in the local area. We loved the Lunga estate and beaches and the walk over to Ardfern and the Craignish peninsula. We also visited Arduaine gardens and saw otters playing on the coast! Plus crabbing from various piers and highly recommend visiting the Crinan Canal. A fabulous base for a holiday.

Summary: We have just spent a lovely week at the house in Craobh Haven. Despite the pretty constant rain we managed to do plenty and with the times we just didn't fancy going out we found the house to be a cosy retreat.

Summary: Hi Jo Thank you for sharing your home. It was very clean, comfortable and very welcoming. We had a lovely holiday with our family, who had great fun playing board games around your big dining table. The drives to Oban, Lochgilphead and especially the Isle of Arran were amazing and it was lovely to finish our days off at the Lord of the Isles pub.

Summary: We came to stay in the house with four small children, and I can really say the house was wonderful: the right size, perfectly equipped, very clean etc; the location was also beautiful with views of wonderful sunsets over the mountains and lochs, and there was lots to do nearby. Even the weather was reasonable for the west coast - we would love to return, especially if sunshine can be guaranteed!

Summary: We spent a relaxing week at No 8. The beds were so comfortable and the whole cottage was tastefuly decorated . We spent several evenings watching the sun set over the marina. We enjoyed days out to Oban, Mull and Iona. Cycling on the Crinan canal with its beautiful scenery is well worth doing . We had a couple of meals in the The Lord of the Isles and the food was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
