Summary: Heerlijk huisje wat van alle gemakken is voorzien en op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum Bergen. Het is erg gezellig ingericht en de bedden slapen goed. Wij hadden onze baby van 4 maanden mee en er stond een heerlijk campingbedje voor hem klaar. De badkamer is klein, vooral het wasbakje, maar een prima douche. In de keuken is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt om een avondje te koken. De verwarming sloeg snel aan, waardoor het snel lekker warm was in het huisje. Via de telefoon goed contact gehad met de eigenaren. Als we ze nodig hadden, stonden ze snel voor ons klaar.

Summary: Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Service. Nach 2019 sind wir wieder das erste Mal wieder hier (wegen Corona) und es ist noch so schön und gemütlich wie damals. Insgesamt ist es unser dritter Urlaub „In de Weide“. Alles ist wie beschrieben. Ein kleiner Punkt wäre noch verbesserungswürdig - die Geschirrausstattung (Besteck, Toaster etc.) Bedarf einer Renaissance.

Summary: Bei der Ankuft wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das Ferienhäuschen ist sauber und geräumig, die Möbel allerdings teils stark benutzt (z.B. das Sofa). Es empfielt sich, ein oder zwei Tagesdecken mitzubringen. Tolle und flauschige Handtücher stehen in ausreichender Menge, es gibt eine Waschmaschine, getrocknet wird auf einem Wäscheständer. Den kann man auf dem großen Gartengrundstück gut abstellen. Der Garten wirkt verwunschen, irgendwie märchenhaft und ist sehr schön, hier stört nichts die Idylle. Der Gartenteil des Ferienhäuschens wird nur von den Feriengästen genutzt. Zwei neue Liegestühle laden zum Sonnenbaden ein, falls der Wind am Strand mal zuviel wird. Ein großer Gartentisch nebst Grill lädt zu gemütlichen Sommerabenden ein. Die Hausbsitzer wohnen auf dem selben Grundstück, man bemerkt sie aber nicht. Sehr höflich und diskret. Auf einem zweiten Grundstück nebenan, das ebenfalls zum Haus gehört lebt ein älteres Lama, eine kleine Attraktion. Ein Parkplatz für ein Fahrzeug wird gestellt. Der ist auch nötig, da die Wohngegend über sehr enge Sträßchen verfügt. Falls man mit zwei PKW anreist, kann einer aber auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz abgestellt werden. Der ist nur wenige Meter Fußweg entfernt. Bergen ist ein hübsches Städtchen mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es gibt Supermärkte und auch einen Aldi. Dazu viele Lokale und Restaurants. Die Preise sind moderat. Von all unseren Nordsee-Urlauben war dieser besonders günstig. Kein Vergleich z.B. zu Dänemark, wo das Angebot eher spärlich ist, die Preise dafür aber astronomisch hoch sind. In Bergen zahlt man Preise wie in Deutschland, teilweise günstiger und das Angebot ist umwerfend. Das ist jeden falls unser subjektiver Eindruck. In spezellen Läden gibt es fangfrischen Fisch, tolles Fleisch und natürlich traumhaften Käse von riesigen Laiben. Die Unterkunft war für uns zwei Personen mit Hund (Boxer) ideal. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, trotzdem könnte es bei mehreren Personen doch ein wenig eng werden. Das Bad ist sehr klein, es gibt eine Toilette mit im Bad und die Dusche hat keine Handbrause. Aber das ist nur eine Kleinigkeit. Die Bettwäsche wird gestellt und muss bei Abreise nur abgezogen werden. Sie ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Vier Kopfkissen gibt es pro Schlafzimmer. In einem waren die Matratzen etwas hart, im anderen perfekt. Geschmackssache. Was sollte man unbedingt mitnehmen? Etwas gegen Mücken (je nach Jahrszeit) und Fliegen. In Bergen Binnen ist halt Wasser, auch stehende. Dazu Schilf und Moor. In der Küche braucht man nichts, alles ist da (Toaster, Kühl- und Gefrierkombination). Es gibt keine Spülmaschine, also braucht man keine Tabs usw. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei und schnell. Der Hausbesitzer machte bei Anreise ein Reset. In Holland funktioniert die Mülltrennung anders – nur 2 Tonnen ) In eine kommt Restmüll jeder Art, in die andere Biomül. Also am besten Papiermülltüten und Bio-Plastikmülltüten mitbringen. Die Tonne wird alle 14 Tage geleert, Müll ist also zu sparen. Flaschen und Papier kommen in öffentliche Container im Ort. In Holland gibt es viele Getränke in Dosen und alles ist andere ist aufwändig verpackt, wandert aber ungetrennt in den Restmüll. Die Tonne müssen die Gäste an die Straße stellen (steht jedenfalls so in der Hausordnung im Haus). Bergen ist teils sehr mondän und auf dem Weg zum Strand (20 Minuten mit dem Auto) gibt es bombastische Anwesen zu bestaunen. Wer zum Strand aufbrechen möchte, sollte dies frühzeitig tun. Die (gebührenpflichtigen) Parkplätze (1 Stunde - 1,90 Euro) sind schnell belegt. Es gibt aber viele. Der Strand ist atemberaubend, ebenso die Dünen, die man aber nicht betreten darf. Hunde am Strand wurden abseits des Geschehens toleriert. Trotz Verbot vom 31.5. bis 30.9. liefen viele Leute mit ihnen herum. Aber es war Mitte Juni noch Vorsaison, wie wissen nicht wie das in den Ferien gehandhabt wird. In Dänemark war es wesentlich strenger. Auch in den Geschäften und Lokalen. In Bergen geht es schön locker zu – klasse! Am Strand empfielt sich das Hemingway's und das Bada Bing. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Familie S. – wir möchten wiederkommen.

Summary: heel vriendelijk en uitnodigend. Communicatie was goed en Bergen is een ontzettend leuke plaats waar je heerlijk kunt fietsen, mountainbiken, naar het strand kunt etc. Het huisje is goed voor 4 personen, grote tuin en door heerlijke weer konden we veel buiten zijn.
