Positive: The property is incredible! There are loads of outdoor activities and plenty of space to accommodate our group of 13 adults. The kitchen is well equipped with enough space for a few cooks at a time. The host, Eva, is warm and friendly and always willing to help with whatever we needed. She has cuddly cats and beautiful farm animals. This is truly a slice of countryside paradise while still being close enough to Stockholm for a day trip! Big supermarkets like Wille & Lidl are a short 20min drive away too. Amenities such as the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and jet bathtub add a little more luxury to an already exquisite home.
Negative: Based on the description, we thought we'd have access to the entire home but the top floor was locked. The sleeping arrangements were odd, as most beds weren't in actual bedrooms, although the beds themselves were comfortable (except the rollaway beds but that's to be expected). As we stayed during midsummer, the sun spent a lot of time in the sky, with this in mind, it would have been nice to have blinds/shutters for the windows and skylights in all of the bedrooms. The owner actually lives on the property and although she is lovely, we would have appreciated knowing this before our arrival.
Summary: 1 week, 13 friends. Beautiful memories.
