Well situated holiday home with uninterrupted lake views. All amenities (Hotel, Cafe, shop, school) within 5 min walking distance including lake.
Sleeps 8 with an additional (double) sofa bed . Plenty of off street parking for boat, or space for tent. Please note, the cost is for 4 guests, any additional guest may incur an extra fee.
2 bedrooms (master - queen bed), 2nd bedroom with double bunk and single above it. Loft bedroom (accessible by attic ladder as shown in photos), 3 single beds.
Large private deck surrounded by Native bush with stunning lake views and BBQ.
Clean and tidy with newly renovated kitchen.
Great log burner which heats up the whole house when needed.
Own linen (sheets, tea towels, towels) required, rubbish to be taken away from the property and cleaning when departing or additional costs will incur.
Cleaning can be arranged for an additional $70
Basic Sky TV package included

Summary: There was lots of space with everything that you would need to be comfortable. Nice view of the lake was a little restricted by the vegetation in front but the bach is good value for money and the owner is responsive.

Summary: A little more dated than expected from the photos. Several insect blinds needed fixing, overall cleanliness was ok. Beautiful views and all amenities provided. Had to replace smoke alarm batteries.

Summary: It was a perfect place to come back to after a long day fishing. And the fire was awesome on those cold nights. Will definitely be back.

Summary: The Bach was just right for our needs. A fire laid ready to light, comfy bed and well appointed kitchen. Loved the views and sunsets. We biked the new lakeside trail and enjoyed the cafes. The pump was noisy and didn’t turn off for long . It may need attention. We hadn’t seen in the listing that we needed to bring linen but host gave us a few days warning and we got some sheets from op shop in Christchurch.. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would rent it again.

Summary: Loved the place, loved the walks near by too. The Paparoa track is only a 30 minute drive. Don’t forget to bring your own toilet paper if you’re staying longer than a night.

Summary: This home did not have a lock on the front ranch slider, and therefore the security of the house was lacking. The house had a log burner for heating, but we did not use that as we were out of the house, during daylight, most days and it would have been unsafe to have that alight in our absence. The only other heating was a stand alone heater, which was barely adequate when the temperature went to minus 1 degree. The house could do with a spruce up.
