2nd floor: The 5 double bedrooms each have their own en suite bathroom with WC. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a king-size double bed (180 x 200 cm). Skiing to the chalet: In good conditions, you can ski downhill along the track to the chalet (no marked or groomed piste; at your own risk). Distance to the centre of Les Collons ~750 m on the road or 400 m on foot (non-paved path). The versatile ski and holiday resort of Les Collons has various shops, Valais restaurants, après-ski pubs, ATM, post office, ski hire and several ski schools. Nearby Thyon 2000 offers an indoor swimming pool and childcare (from 18 months; winter season), ~6 km. Charming winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes with great views in the surrounding area. In the neighbouring village of Héremence, there are centuries-old wooden farmhouses and typical hay barns on stilts. The swimming lake Les Iles in the Rhone Valley is approx. 20 km away. A stroll through the narrow streets of the historic old town of Sion - 18 km - the capital of Valais, and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile.
