Positive: There was a lightbulb missing from the desk lamp. We reported it and asked for a replacement. The desk clerk replied ... do you really need it? We replied yes. And said she would have maintenance replace it the next day. I discussed this with the gentleman at the front desk at checkout and he gave the same glib response. The breakfast was awful, dried out eggs and potatoes, no juice from all four spouts and cold coffee. I don't feel that we were valued nor that we received the full value for what we paid, much less our expectations ... we simply expect to receive a working light bulb, hot food that's not way past its acceptable quality and beverages that are appropriately dispensed at the appropriate temperature. Basic failures in hospitality and performance.

Positive: Very disappointed, gravy cold, items were not restocked as they were emptied. We were there two mornings and on Sunday there was very few items left when we went at 7:30 am. Just not well managed.
Negative: Stayed 2 nights and room was not taken care of for trash or towels for second day.
Summary: Had been awhile since staying at a Holiday Inn. Will go back to Hampton.

Positive: The bed was comfortable. I love the location. Walk in shower. This has been my favorite place for over a year. I'm back every three months.
Negative: It's always been exceptionally clean, but this time furniture had sticky spots and the fridge had defrosted and water was all over that I cleaned up. There was one roll of TP (minor) and the sink, toliet and floor were half cleaned. Usually they are immaculately clean. There needs to be a place that you can throw garbage away when you stay a few days and you don't need any other service. I set a small garbage bag outside my door and it was ignored. My bad. I can live with that. When I first started staying over a year ago,, the staff were welcoming, friendly, smiled and I felt comfortable, and it mattered that I wanted to stay there.. Honestly, the last time I stayed, I felt like it didn't matter if I stayed or went somewhere else. Very rude attitude. I had a confirmation from booking.com that I made 3 months ago, and when I checked in, they didn't have it in their system, even though I had the email and information. The person blamed booking.com. I don't know who's fault that was, but I think it horribly wrong that since I had the confirmation and price and they still had a half cleaned room for me to stay, that they wouldn't recognize the price. They charged me $100.00 more than my confirmation, and as much as I stay there it wasn't fair or good customer service. Again, her attitude was like she could care less if I stayed or went somewhere else. I had to ask if there were rooms available, she didnt even say I am sorry for the mixup, lets see what I can do. We still have rooms. I had traveled and was too exhausted or I would have went somewhere else. Maybe that's how Holiday Inn trains their people now, and I expected too much, but a little compassion goes a long way when a person is tired. I asked if she would recognize the Booking.com price I had confirmed, and she said no. Booking.com tried to work with them by calling and sent an email, but I was told no way I would get the original price.

Positive: Location was convenient and room/bathroom was fine.
Negative: There was a $9 charge per person for breakfast so we just got coffee and stopped elsewhere. TV guide was not working requiring switching to each station to see what was on. Only saw 1 other guest during stay but front desk person seemed overwhelmed and did not smile.
