Summary: Decent. Breakfast ended earlier than listed. My online booking they told me my reservation was canceled once i arrived on property but we worked it out

Summary: The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably comfortable.Our only complaints is that the carpets are old and smell musty, making the room smell musty even after turning the fan on.

Summary: Spent three nights at this location. The bed was comfortable and the location worked well, just off of Michigan Avenue and telegraph Road, but the overall experience was very average. The front desk personnel weren’t always helpful, one night my room key wouldn’t work and I had yo find management with a master key and the breakfast was decent on one occasion and subpar on the other. On the third morning, I skipped it and went out to breakfast myself. Overall, Very basic but adequate.

Summary: This hotel was not up to the usual quality of this chain. On the positives the staff were excellent, the breakfast was good and well stocked, the bed was comfortable. However the room was beat up. Marks all over the walls, peeling paint, worn out carpet, beat up furnishings. At first I couldn't tell if it was dirty or just looked dirty because of the poor condition but on closer inspection it was kinda dirty in the room. I am by no means super judgy about this so if I noticed it's not good. The lobby and community areas did appear cleaner. The hotel was also very loud. There were what appeared to be kids sports teams in the hotel lacking any adult supervision. They were beating on the service bell at the desk, yelling and running around. Finally around 1 am an adult came and got them. I got the impression teams come to this hotel a lot and act up. The security deposit on the credit card was double what it is at other hotels I have stayed at and the clerk indicated the kids trashing the rooms is why they put that in place. It doesn't list this on the room amenities but the room did have a microwave.

Summary: It was a decent stay for the average amount paid. We stayed one night after going to a hockey game in downtown Detroit. The sheets were clean, TV worked and breakfast was OK. It's not like their competitor's hotel, which might be a little newer looking or having a better breakfast but for the price, it wasn't bad.
