Positive: Peter is in the process of renovating this building and from the street view, the property is a little messy. He is certainly renovating with love. Our apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Prints, bric-a-brac, be careful because those plants are real…. Two reverse cycle air-conditioners for warmth. A well-stocked kitchen except for an empty tea tin.😕 Never mind, the coffee pods were excellent. Quiet and in a great location. The only things we didn’t like… The bathroom was a little small and at the back of the apartment. A long way to walk in the middle of a cold night for a tinkle. The toilet was also in an awkward position. Turning right out of Dawson Street into Fullamore Rd is difficult. Our advice is to go to the other end of Dawson Street, turn right and then turn right at the next street. You are further away from the traffic lights and the traffic doesn’t bank up as much. Parking is on the street yet there are plenty of parks available. Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay and would return. This property is very close to the Haigh’s chocolate factory. 👍🏼 The Woolworths down the road closes at 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. My husband only made it because he ran. We did expect it to close later.

Positive: Everything was absolutely lovely at Hollidge House, we stayed for two nights of our road trip. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to relax, everything is so well presented and best of all for us coffee addicts is a Nespresso machine! The bed was super comfy as was the sofa, we had everything we needed and loved our stay. Also had a nice chat with the owner who was super nice and friendly, a gorgeous property!
Negative: Not a single thing!
