Positive: Clean with all required kitchenware etc. good tv and free view box.
Negative: Shower head is fitted at about 5 1/2 feet high, not great for anyone taller than that. Some tea/coffee milk etc would have been nice to have left in the kitchen. Although only about 1 mile from town centre, which was good, it is strange to stay in the middle of a housing estate.
Summary: Nice house, slightly odd location for a rental place.

Positive: A nice family house with comfortable beds and furniture. Well equipped. Towels and basic bath and shampoo products provided. Tidy back garden with good furniture and a lawn
Negative: Shelving in built-in cupboards left in blockboard finish. Maybe a work in progress. Sykes Cottages app not functional and may have affected phone operation. Helpful staff when I got through with an enquiry.

Positive: Good transport links to the area, bus, trains etc... a little bit of walking to bus stop 4 to 5 minutes. Bus fare £2, great. We initially got a taxi from Harrogate to the property but got a bus back to Harrogate, which also goes to Leeds. Nice and easy. Property was well appointed, had everything you would need.
Negative: Nothing.
Summary: A very pleasant experience had in Ripon.

Positive: There was more space than we anticipated which was great. The double bed we had anticipated needing to share with two friends but it is a small double so instead used sofa bed in the attic which was great. We had five people staying and there was plenty of space. There was plenty of kitchen crockery and utensils which was great - loads of crockery so not having to wash up after every use. Towels and bedding provided .
Negative: It could really benefit from a downstairs or separate toilet. 5 friends sharing 1 bathroom wasn't ideal but we managed fine! The house was clean and practical but not luxurious.
Summary: a very practical house in good walking distance to Ripon centre.

Negative: a blind in the bathroom would make it more user friendly, the property information says fridge this needs changing to fridge/freezer also there is no mention of a washing machine which the property does have. operating instructions for the central heating would have been useful, having said that i did work it out ok.
Summary: we would fully recommend this property for long or short stay,

Positive: A great location for exploring Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas. Ripon itself is lovely. A very quiet residential area. We could park next to the house. The house itself is very spacious and kitchen is very well equipped. We also enjoyed a great selection of DVDs and books. A very useful welcome folder with great tips on what to see and where to eat.
Negative: There should have been more towels. I contacted the property to advise that there will be 3 guests rather than 2 guests staying, but there were only 2 towels in total provided, plus one hand towel in the bathroom. I would have expected two towels per guest. Also there was very little hand soap, so I ended up buying our own. The property could be cleaner, especially the bathroom. There was no welcome pack - I would have expected at least some milk in the fridge.

Positive: Location was great because I only live on the next street to it, was there because my bathroom had flooded and had to move out of my house whilst new flooring was put in and bath, sink and toilet had to be taken out
Negative: Nothing, it was an excellent place to stay with plenty of room and very comfortable, an ideal home to rent if you wanted to come to Ripon for a holiday
