Positive: The room was comfortable, a decent size and clean. Very good value for the cost.
Negative: It met our expectations. The location in Langford, was not convenient for anyone wanting to visit central Victoria. We had an appointment on the west side of town so it was an excellent location for our needs.
Summary: We had a comfortable overnight stay.

Positive: The place was clean and tidy. Centrally located to shops and buses. Tv and netflix was a good touch
Negative: The pillow cases were winter woolly cases, not ideal to sleep on. There is no curtain to block the street light coming in through the door. There is no window in the "bedroom" to allow for any ventilation. No fan was provided so was extremely warm at night, but didnt want to have the door open for air as it was right on the street. No smoke alarm. Stayed for 3 nights so had to clean plate and cutlery in the shower. Only 1 plate and bowl provided even though two of us were staying The family/owners above may or may not have been actively loud but the walls and floors are very thin so you can hear everything.
Summary: Would be okay for 1 night. Not multiple

Positive: The neighbourhood was safe and quiet. I loved the option of having a private parking space if the street parking right in front of property was taken. Home away from Home was cozy and cute! The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Being able to login to our own tv services on the TV made winding down after a long day of exploring relaxing, just something weโ€™d do at home too. Having a fridge was a bonus as we were able to keep snacks and drinks cold. I loved the coffee/tea station as it was a perfect way to begin the day. I loved the private entrance as it honestly felt like we were โ€œarriving at homeโ€ after a long day of exploring! The shower was nice and even though I brought my own shampoo, it was nice to see that those shower amenities were available. My daughter loved the mirror features and described the shower as having a perfect spa day after a day of hiking. It was a perfect mother/daughter vacation stay. We both felt safe and enjoyed our cozy home for the 3 nights. It was close to where we adventured off and the price was perfectly well in our budget. My daughter did wish she could cover the window of the front door as she thought people could see in, especially at night. But reassured it was high up, off the common sidewalk and door is locked, we had the privacy. This was a great stay and if we ever decide to come back to Langford in the future, we would definitely book this cozy Home away from Home again!

Positive: Location to Langford was great. Communication was really good. I would stay here again as the value was good.
Negative: It was a bit noisy in the early morning when the family upstairs started their day. But it didn't last long.

Negative: Nice touch with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner needs hand soap, well I like it warm not everybody will love the Sherpa comforter.
