Positive: Love the view and close enough to restaurants and shopping. Interior is beautiful. The staff was very helpful and kind.
Negative: Some neighborhood sounds but much quieter than stay in town.

Positive: Lovely little apartment on side street, within a few minutes walking distance of the town centre, bus terminal and many attractions. There is also a small shop next door, which was handy for milk, beers, etc. Very small but well laid out (we stayed longer and moved to the larger apartment at the back, which was very spacious and had a garden area). The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and responded promptly to all our queries. The front apartment was accessed by key, and the front could be opened up to air the room (but then the street could look in!) It was very clean, with a compact kitchen area (larger in the rear apartment) with a 1 ring hob, electric kettle, fridge and small amount of pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery (once we had been shown where these were kept) etc. Wifi/internet/network was excellent throughout, and Netflix and other streaming content available. It could be chilly at night, but plenty of bed covers to keep you warm. The bed was small but comfortable. Trash had to be separated, organic from inorganic, but that was for the whole town. Other than that, no recycling was evident. The bathroom had plenty of shelving, and the Brazilian style shower was good, once adjusted properly for the water pressure!
Negative: The street and surrounding properties could be noisy from early in the morning until late at night. We were charged tax, which we don't think we should have been as foreigners, and only cash accepted. Overall lighting could have been better, and the tiny bathroom really needs hooks for towels, as did the bedroom for coats. There was no ventilation in the bathroom.

Positive: The location, fridge, Clean room!!!, fan, table and chairs, light and outlet by bed. Groceries next door. Room arrangement.
Negative: Room opens directly onto street. I never found the outdoor garden. The bed.

Positive: The residence was super comfortable and clean. The staff and owner were very accommodating.
Negative: The electric showerheads that are being used everywhere in Mindo are not my favorite. They do really get hot and only work with low water volume. This is not a dig to the property or owner, just the system that is being used there.

Positive: Had a fantastic time here, the hosts were super friendly and always quick to respond, which made everything easy. The location is perfect: close enough to the town center for convenience but tucked away in a quieter neighborhood.
Negative: The shower was a bit of a wake-up call, literally! If you like your showers refreshing (aka cold), you’re in for a treat.

Positive: This was close to the hummingbirds and walking to the center where we ate and caught taxis. The bed was super comfy and we had a good night sleep. Very clean. Owner met us and let us in and the place was secure.
Negative: The stairs. Morning roosters.

Positive: One bed house was excellent re facilities, cleanliness and location.Very spacious bedroom and living room decorated in style with 2 toilets.
Negative: When we arrived by bus in Mindo...taxi co could not find address.Manuela who we expected to meet was in Quito and instead met by Rodrigo who could not speak English.Lots of stray dogs about and Roosters noisy at night but been told that is Mindo.....3 minor criticisms.
