Positive: Super friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and an excellent location. The (all you can eat!) buffet breakfast and dinner were healthy and delicious and included in the price which made it a really great deal! Vegetarian / vegan / gluten free diets were taken into account and allergens were clearly marked. We even saw the northern lights from the hot tub (twice)!

Negative: Extremely disappointed by the extra charge for the hot tub. It was 57 NOK per person for half an hour in the hot tub, and the reservation would not even show you if other people have booked the same time slot. Up to 6 people can book per 30min time slot. Vegetarian options were quite limited at dinner, usually the only choice was salad or soup (albeit 4 different kinds of delicious homemade salads and tasty soups). It was a shame there wasn't more options for a vegetarian main course. There was one night where pasta was served but there was only an option for bolognese, no vegetarian sauce

Positive: Perfect location for our few days' stay, on the harbour and near shops, restaurants and bars. Also short walking distance to most of the activities' pick-up points :) Spacious comfortable room. Made use of the top floor outdoor jacuzzi (at extra cost). Breakfast buffet was fabulous, a lot of variety, afternoon tea with 1 or 2 different cakes and evening meal just one choice of main course which was fine with us as we don't have any food restrictions.
